Lieutenant Vura Thu Oct 3rd, 2024 @ 9:46pm |
Vura is not only a great Counselor but they are capable of using their Counseling techniques when faced with scenarios that Counselors are not always faced with. This mission has proved that in abundance. As we close this mission I am sure that Vura will keep us remembering the repercussions of everything we have been through. Ultimately that is what a Counselor in our simming world is all about. |
Lieutenant Paul Michael Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:26pm |
I have enjoyed watching the Lieutenant's family expand on the Pioneer. Very often an officer's family life is glossed over in Star Trek. That is why it is such a pleasure to get a glimpse of Paul's homelife in the stories. I look forward to seeing what is in store for this little family as the Pioneer continues through its missions and enters even more dire straights. |
Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:16pm |
This mission Paisley showed us something we do not often see in Star Trek. A character being effected by the events unfolding around them. It was both enjoyable and painful to read as she made her way from a prison riot to watching her crewmates be tossed into harms way while she could not bring herself to join them. Really emotional and stirring writing. Keep up the great work. |
Lieutenant Ja'sol H'ros Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:59pm |
Since joining the Pioneer Ja'sol has been a breath of fresh air in the Security Department. He demonstrates both the hard nosed battle hardened security officer and the softer more protective aspect as well. Add to that his willingness to lay it all on the line for the story. Keep up the great work Lieutenant. Thank you for being an intrical part of this crew. |
Lieutenant Commander Alyssa Maren Tue May 3rd, 2022 @ 3:23am |
During this past mission we have learned more about Alyssa than almost any other character. She came aboard the Pioneer, refit a cargo bay, and rekindled a lost love. If this were not enough she also has completed a post with almost every member of the crew in this time. A true force to be reckoned with. Keep up the great work. |
Lieutenant Commander Hermia O'Rourke Tue Nov 23rd, 2021 @ 6:39am |
This mission Hermia O'Rourkel deserves this award. In a mission that centered on a small group of characters, and which unfortunately became stagnant for a time, Hermia generated plotlines to keep things moving. This kind of initiative is something that is a breath of fresh air from a simmer, and I would like to congratulate them. Great work and keep it up can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. |
Wed Oct 28th, 2020 @ 7:25am |
What can I say about Quinn. He is my right hand man and very often my conscious. This mission would not have been successful if it were not for his cheering, his pushing, and his spreadsheets. I am forever in his debt and there is no one more deserving of this award for this mission. Thanks for being a part of this community and assisting in making the Pioneer one of the top sims in Obsidian Fleet and on the net. |
Lieutenant Mira Jayna Tue May 5th, 2020 @ 3:26am |
This mission had a lot of large JPs and as such writers can get lost in the shuffle. I would like to recognize Mira for not only holding her own in the large JPs but for posting as multiple characters in multiple sub arcs. Her contributions in the Empok Nor retake sub arc were most noticeable. Keep up the great work, and this means that you have raised the bar for yourself. So now we expect to see more from you lol. Excellent work, and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us as the Pioneer enters its next season. |
Sun Dec 29th, 2019 @ 5:49pm |
I have watched this character grow from an NPC concept into a full PC character. This writer balances the subtlety of being a wife and an officer very well. I also enjoy the way she balances being an officer who has to report to her husband. For this mission I would like to recognize Ameri for not only doing what she normally does. But, in the mission posts she added a sense of fear to the post that makes it enjoyable to read. |
Ensign Dana Wakefield Thu Aug 15th, 2019 @ 4:28am |
The story they constructed and kept relatively secret from us all was one that was compelling, and something not often seen in Star Trek. It is rare that a story is told about how the stresses of starship life can effect a person. I enjoyed reading this series, and I am glad to have been a writer in it. So for her fall from grace I would like to give Dana Wakefield the Captain's Personal Merit Award. No keep up the great work... |
Lieutenant Colonel Cornelius Tremble Sat Jun 1st, 2019 @ 1:07am |
For this mission I feel that Cornelius Tremble deserves an immense amount of recognition. He not only put himself out there to further the main mission but he also took the lead on a sub arc plot. Fleshing out the setting that is Empok Nor. Tremble is always available to write anything at anytime. It is for all of these reasons and more that I award him the Captain's merit. |
Tue Jan 1st, 2019 @ 4:43am |
For the end of the year Captain's Merit I feel Andrew Moore is the most deserving. Not only does Andrew run his own ship, and write the character of Moore here, but he is also the Task Group CO for 47A. With all of that on his plate he still finds time to participate as a member of the command team of this ship. His insight especially when it comes to enlisted characters has been invaluable to me. His writing is top notch and he has a flair for putting his own spin on combat posts. I for one will never forget his introduction to the ship in general. I look forward to seeing what he has in store for us in the coming year. |
Staff Warrant Officer Jennifer Masters - Calhoun Tue Oct 16th, 2018 @ 12:10am |
The concept for the mission "The Sum of Our Parts" was a tough one for any writer to grasp. However, Masters jumped in not only writing her character's journey through time, but volunteering to help with the other crew members as well. I was uniquely impressed with the way they were able to adapt their writing style to fit the all of the multiverses. Very well done, and well deserved. |

For the Shore Leave interlude I would like to recognize Ensign Elloma Essu. The Ensign has provided an idea for story-lines that will not only develop their character more but assisted in getting me to develop a side of mine that I had not thought of before. Their idea also embarks into an area that I do not believe has been breached in a sim before. On a personal note I have not only enjoyed everything that Elloma has written but I enjoy writing with them immensely. I look forward to where this particular sub plot is going to go and how Elloma is going to develop as a whole. |
Mon May 21st, 2018 @ 11:27pm |
Aaron get's the award for this mission. This mission taxed me to the point where I was ready to end the mission and start something new. But there was Aaron pushing me, giving me ideas and new approaches to keep things going. He is one hell of a Number One. In short you are being tied to that XO's chair you can never leave. Thank you for your help and support. |
Lieutenant Commander Vaebn tr'Hwersuil Thu Feb 1st, 2018 @ 9:24pm |
Lieutenant tr'Hwersuil... all I can really say is wow... In the past month you have really turned up the heat in subplots on the ship. Staying true not only to the spirit of your character but to the spirit of a Romulan as well. I am looking forward with bated breath to see how this resolves. Keep it up... Really great writing Lieutenant. |
Sat Jan 6th, 2018 @ 5:28pm |
Since joining the Pioneer, Dr Ballston has been a tour de force. He has jumped with both feet posting with anyone and everyone who will have him. On top of this the work he put in designing the Azzian race will add for story as the ship progresses down the road. I look forward to seeing the original ways that he will have for patching up this crew. For these reasons I would like to award him the Captain's Personal Merit Ribbon for December. Keep up the great work Doc... |
Lieutenant Commander Larim Myles Fri Dec 1st, 2017 @ 10:22am |
For the month of November I would like to award the Captain's Personal Merit Ribbon to Lieutenant Larim Myles. When Larim joined the ship he had an idea, that with a little bit of encouragement has flourished into an addition to the sims community. He has shown what can happen to a person when they have to leave their family behind for service to the fleet. Keep up the good work Lieutenant. |
