Last Time On Getting Lost Part IV

"It is very true that wearing leather on the beach, isn't good but there are swimsuits out there that can get people's attention, make you stand out. And you can go with your Goth style of wear. He pulled out his padd and typed in Goth Style swimsuits. Two came up, one was a two piece bikini black, with lace skirt over the lower part of the swim suit, the lace pattern having skulls upon it. Another one was called The Louisa Lace Swimsuit.

Taken from an actual advertisement.

This stunning, gothic one-piece bathing suit in black lace is giving us roaring twenties flapper vibes!

Built around a basic black bikini silhouette, ornately patterned sheer panels provide some coverage and two flattering black lace pieces drape down over your hips for added drama!

A beautiful swim suit to make you the envy of the beach goths!

"If I may suggest either one of these, though personally, the last one I think would look great on you." Stefan giving a smile.

And Now The Continuation...

She looked it over critically, then nodded. "Okay. that one will work."

"All you need to do is enter in your measurements. And then my turn to pick out a swimsuit. maybe you might want to make a suggestion or two for me, since I made suggestions for you?" flashing an impish smile. "Also going to put in for an outfit to change into. While we are there on Aquil."

Kaylara put herself between Stefan and the computer so she could enter her measurements without him seeing. It was one thing for him to look at her, it was another to know her exact size. She took the opportunity to order a skirt and over-shirt that matched the swimsuit and a pair of comfortable sandals with skulls on the top.

Kaylara then asked the computer to find a swimsuit for Stefan that matched her own. A moment later, it displayed three choices. She looked at him, then at the swim shorts. "How about that one?" she asked, pointing to the screen.

Stefan looked at it, giving a nod the board shorts were a good length pure black with a white skull upon the right leg. There was a fine mesh up the side of the board shorts stopping at the upper thigh. He looked at what was also available. There was a sheer mesh tank top which had a skull patterns woven into it as well. He chose that along with some black surf shoes which had a skull and crossbones. For wear off the beach, Stefan got a solid tank top, with a button up shirt to go over it.

"Can't forget the towels." he said. "What sort shall we acquire? "

"No, we definitely need towels." She thought for a minute, then pulled up an image of a towel with a yeti on the front. "How about this?"

Stefan took a good look at the towels, seeing the fierceness of said legendary creature. "Okay that works well. Let get that." flashing a smile. He looked at Kaylara, "I will say this, you are making quite an impression on me and having a bit of influence, in a good way."

Laughing, Kaylara replied, "I can honestly say I've never been told that before. Usually, I hear I'm too odd or too quirky." She wasn't sure what to make of Stefan, but she was looking forward to their trip to the beach. "Anything else we'll need?"

Stefan rubbed his chin, "Maybe some citronella oil to keep the bugs off of us, just in case. It is the tropics sort of set up." giving a smile. "As for anything else? I think we've got everything covered. " he ordering the citronella oil, which had a lemony, citrusy scent to it. "This should keep the bugs away. It’s worked for me before. Shall we head out now? And we can take the transporter down, instead of a shuttle. Sound good?"

"Yes. The sooner we get down to the planet, the better I'll feel. Knowing my luck, I'll run into someone before we get there." She wasn't concerned about Jayna, but anyone else made her nervous. Especially after running out like she did.

Fortunately, Lady Luck was with them. As soon as they materialized on the planet, Kaylara took a deep breath and smiled. The air was warm and humid, but it was a nice chance from the sterile atmosphere on the ship and station. "Well, sir, where to now?"

Stefan froze in mid step when Kaylara said 'Sir', he quickly looked around. "Wait, we've got fleeters here already?" he looking around quickly looking for any sign of Federation uniformed personnel. Then it dawned on Stefan realizing she was referring to him, as 'sir'. "You almost gave me a heart attack there, Kaylara." he pulled out his PADD "According to the map, the beach is down that path. Shall we, milady? There are changing booths there for us to change into our swimsuits"

Kaylara grinned. "After you, si...my lord."

Stefan raised an eyebrow then laughed, and led the way to the beach and the changing booths. After he changed into his swimsuit, Stefan wondered about something looking to see what areas they could actually go to. He stepped out of the booth to wait for Kaylara. There had been a couple of places that he and Kaylara could go. The stopping point where mostly federation personnel were allowed were Sapphire Island, the main Federation Offices, tropical resorts, and housing for Federation personnel serving on the planet.

That would actually work if they wanted to be hidden in plain sight. He'll ask Kaylara if she wanted to stay here or go to another area.

Kaylara took a bit longer to change and stow her clothing in a bag. She walked out and immediately looked for Stefan.

Stefan had his back turned towards the changing booth, looking out towards the water, a contemplative expression in his eyes. He was also at the moment feeling the soft grit of the sand beneath his bare feet, not having put his water shoes on as of yet. He wore the board shorts that Kaylara had chosen and also had the mesh shirt on as well. His other clothing was stowed away in a bag, that was water proof. He was enjoying the feeling of the natural breeze which had sprung up, upon his flesh.

She watched him for a moment, a smile on her face. Then she slowly walked toward him, not wanting to disturb his moment of contemplation. If she enjoyed watching him as she did so, she would keep that to herself.

Stefan got that sense, that feeling that someone was observing him. Stefan squatted down picking up a shell which he noticed, all the while nonchalantly shifted slightly to see who it was from the corner of his eyes. He was also making his body ready to move quickly. He relaxed slightly when he realized that it was Kaylara. Slowly he rose to his full height, still holding the shell in his hand, the outer part of it was white and had ridges, reminding him of a conch shell a small one, with the inside being a delicate pink. He placed the shell up against the shell to hear the roar of an ocean coming from inside. He turned around with a smile and held it out to Kaylara. "Here, have a listen."

Her eyes were dancing as she took the shell. "Thank you."

"You are welcome. My siblings and I, plus my aunt used to go to the seashore and collected the shells and we'd put the shell up against our ears later on just to listen to the ocean, when we were far away, it bringing us good and fond memories." he stated. He paused then he remarked, "There is an island named Sapphire Island where the Federation has set up a Tropical getaway, where most of the Star Fleet personnel reside along with the resort sort of feel to it. Then there is the Marble Rock bay, as well as Trosa Falls in the Marble Rock Bay, it seems to be where the fresh water as well as the salt water meet up and create a lovely combination of water just to relax and enjoy."

Kaylara wasn't so sure she wanted to go to a resort. Too many people were likely to be there. But then, she really didn't know this planet. "Where do you want to go?" she asked.

"Honestly? I would like to go see the Trosa Falls in Marble Rock Bay. From the images I have seen, it is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking." Stefan replied. He wasn't ashamed to admit he did like seeing beautiful scenery.

"Good. Let's go." That spot appealed to her the most, too, and she wanted Stefan to show it to her.

"Sounds great!" Stefan responded with enthusiasm.

A Shuttle took them to Marble Rock Bay, landing on the pad meant for such an occasion. There was even an area where they could actually be beamed up directly back to the station. This was in a designated spot where the technology wouldn't mar the landscape. A path way which led to the bay and the falls wound through out trees, and there was the scent of jasmine in the air. Stefan reached out and touched one of the blossoms, taking in the scent of the flower. He then looked at Kaylara giving a grin, holding out his hand towards her. "This is so much better than a pretend piece of landscape in a holosuite. "
