Gold Unit of Merit (Unit Award) Gold Unit of Merit (Unit Award)
Awarded Fri May 11th, 2018 @ 7:44pm
Nominated by Captain Tyler Malbrooke
“In March, the Pioneer had hit something of a rut. This month, they doubled their post count, going from around 25 posts across 19 players, to 60 posts across 18. This is an absolutely brilliant improvement, and it gives me great pleasure to nominate them for the UoM this month.” (Rear Admiral Oliver Lancaster, TFCO)
Gold Unit of Merit (Unit Award) Gold Unit of Merit (Unit Award)
Awarded Wed Aug 8th, 2018 @ 12:16am
Nominated by Captain Tyler Malbrooke
“It was a tough decision this month, all the sims in the TG have done extremely well this month. However, I am putting the USS Pioneer in for UoM this month. The Pioneer reached an incredible 103 posts this month, reaching that in just the last 7 days of the month from about 70. That was a great showing by the Pioneer crew, and each post was quality to go with the quantity. Well done!” (Commander John Barstow, TGCO, TG47-A)

Awarded Tue Jan 1st, 2019 @ 4:46am
Nominated by Commander Quinn Ó Flannagáin
Out of 33 characters currently assigned to the USS Pioneer, a few officers shined at the top of my list. Leading the pack at this time is Lieutenant Junior Grade Dana Wakefield. She has over 21 mission posts, since joining the USS Pioneer. Despite being a busy holiday season, she managed to get out three mission posts. She is a shinning example of a great writer. Her posts are a delight to read, and can not wait to see what she brings for the rest of 2018 and the upcoming year of 2019.

Awarded Tue Jan 8th, 2019 @ 5:28am
Nominated by Captain Tyler Malbrooke
“The Pioneer has, as ever, continued to wow in terms of her quality and quantity of posting. Since taking over the sim, Malbrooke has done exceptionally with her, maintaining a large crew of 15 player characters and a post count of 55 for the holiday month. Well done!” (Oliver Lancaster, TFCO, TF-47)

Time flies when the Admiral's daughter is on the bridge. Thanks for a great year of writing. I look forward to seeing where Dana will go in the year to come.

Dana is an epic addition to our crew. I am proud to have her aboard. The conscious that the character has is refreshing. The way they handle it is even more refreshing. Thanks for being here.

I have seen a distinct uptick in the Lieutenant's interactions this mission. This is something that I not only appreciate but look forward to.

“Normally, I’m not one for giving awards to Task Group Flagships. In fact, often times I actively avoid it as I feel to take on a Task Force Command role is to forfeit those types of awards to the sims you are the TGCO for. However, in this instance, I am awarding the UoM from the month of July to Captain Tyler Malbrooke and the crew of the Pioneer. They consistently put out a high post count while maintaining a brilliant quality, worthy of Flagship status and this award. In July alone, they put out 134 posts, an average of just over 7 posts per player, and are on track for another month that will break that 100 post level, and this isn’t a one off either! Combine that with the additional work Malbrooke does in his capacity as a TGCO and Academy Commandant while also running this great sim and the sheer degree of interaction between these people that demonstrates the kind of creativity and camaraderie this fleet is all about, and you’ll understand why I’m nominating them for this award. So congratulations to the Pioneer and her crew, this award is well earned. Keep it up!” – Oliver Lancaster, TF47 TFCO

I"m putting Lieutenant Dana Wakefield and Warrant Jennifer Masters up for this award. The post, What are Friends For is a compelling post about two characters each dealing with trauma in their lives and leaning on one another to try and get through it. This post helped pave the way to more drama throughout Episode 7: Home Again and it's been a lot of fun to read.

Without Jen, Dana would be up shit creek without a paddle, I know I can always rely on Jen and she always has my back, what are friends for after all.
Captain's Personal Merit Captain's Personal Merit

Nominated by Captain Tyler Malbrooke
The story they constructed and kept relatively secret from us all was one that was compelling, and something not often seen in Star Trek. It is rare that a story is told about how the stresses of starship life can effect a person. I enjoyed reading this series, and I am glad to have been a writer in it. So for her fall from grace I would like to give Dana Wakefield the Captain's Personal Merit Award. No keep up the great work...
