Last Time On Getting Lost Part V

A Shuttle took  them to Marble  Rock Bay, landing on  the pad meant for such an occasion. There was even an area where they could actually be beamed up directly back to the station. This was in a designated spot where the technology wouldn't mar the landscape. A path way which led to the bay and the falls wound through out trees, and there was the scent of jasmine in the air. Stefan reached out and touched one of the blossoms, taking in the scent of the flower.  He then looked  at Kaylara giving a grin, holding out his hand towards her.  "This is so much better than a pretend piece of landscape in a holosuite. "
And Now The Continuation...

He turned to continue towards the beach, as they traversed the path the sound of the water fall could be heard. The path ended upon the beach, white sand to the left and right of it. On the right was the water fall, it cascading into the bay, the sun hitting it just right to create a rainbow effect in the spray. It was quiet, serene, and they were the only ones there for the time being. It seemed that luck was on their side. To the front of the path could be seen the water, reflecting the skies deep blue color, with hints of the sun dancing upon the surface.

"Do you want to investigate the waterfall first?" Stefan asked Kaylara.

Kaylara had stopped to look at the waterfall, so it took her a minute to register his words. "Yes. Especially as there's no one here right now." She preferred to see the waterfall without others around and didn't want to wait and hope they'd still be alone later.

"Let’s go then" Stefan answered with  a delighted smile, proceeding up the beach towards where they could reach the waterfall. As they neared it, it could be seen  there was a path that would lead towards the upper part of the falls. The lower part of the falls fell into a pool like area. Stefan paused for a moment just drinking in the scenery. A roundish rock  was on the side  of the beach, the  sand angling around it. On the other side  of the boulder there  was even more of private  area,   with an untouched stretch of sand which went  up to the water's edge. A breeze caught some of the mist  from the waterfall,  carrying it towards where Kaylara and Stefan stood. The leaves  of a nearby palm tree rustled  slightly in the breeze.

"Have  you ever stood beneath the stream  of water from a waterfall?" Stefan asked.

"No." She'd never even considered it before. But then, she couldn't recall if there had been any waterfalls near where she'd grown up. Perhaps it was just a lack of opportunity. Or maybe she just needed to wait for this waterfall? The setting was perfect for it.

Stefan gave a slow smile, looking at the waterfall, "Let’s go experience it then, I will let  you do that first. I will say its invigorating  and also soothing. This would be the first time for me for this waterfall but, I feel you need to do this solo, just for your very first time.  Kaylara. And actually, it’s best to do so without clothing." his eyes were very serious on this part. "In fact, Kaylara I can stay on this side of the rock and let you do that in private. In a true experience, there doesn't need to be  any distractions, to  take away from the sensations. Then if or when you want me to join you, just call for me." Stefan reaching out and  caressing Kaylara's cheek.

She'd never been prudish about her body or what she wore, but she wasn't sure about the island's dress standard. "As long as it's not against some native code," she replied. Her smile grew mischievous. "And I don't mind which side of the rock you're on--or when you join me." Laughing softly, she walked around the rock and undressed. She folded her clothes and set them on a conveniently-placed rock so they wouldn't get sandy, set her sandals beside it and padded to the waterfall.

The waterfall was small enough to not be too loud or too strong. Kaylara laughed with pleasure as the spray increased until she was finally under the falls. Now she understood why Stefan said she should be naked. The feel of the water against her skin felt both sensual and primal. She held her arms out to her side and then raised them above her head, relishing the sensation.

Hearing Kaylara's laugh, Stefan peered around the rock and watched as she stepped  into the waterfall. A soft smile appeared, as he just watched for a few moments then disrobing himself and placing the clothing upon the rock next to hers, he soon joined her,  entering into the waterfall. He had paused just for moment to admire her then he proceeded to pull Kaylara close, the water cascading over them  giving her a long, deep, kiss.

Once again, the timing of his kiss was perfect and she wondered, briefly, how many other women he'd brought here. But a moment later, she banished the thought and wrapped her arms around his neck, relishing the moment.

It felt to him as they kissed, his arms wrapping around her, the water raining down upon them, that the previous pains, the torments that had been hounding him, were all washed away. Their lips parted and he leaned his forehead against hers, he blinked a little bit as the water ran down his face and he smiled. Were there words for him to say? At the moment there was not, to him this was a sheer sublime piece of stolen time with just him and Kaylara.

It was a perfect moment. Kaylara felt that perfection course through her and she laughed, hugging Stefan. "I would love to stay here under the falls with you, but I don't want to shock some poor family coming to visit."

Stefan gave an answering smile,  and a warm chuckle.  "What you say is true, very true. Shall we go get dressed and continue on our swimming?" Stefan stepping out of the waterfall and into the sun. He raised up his arms over his head, stretching just a little bit. "This place  certainly has its charms." giving a charming smile towards Kaylara.  "It is better in person than just seeing it via images." he started heading towards the rock where their clothing  was at, he  felt  the warmth of the swim  suit  having been in the sun, slipping on the board shorts.

She followed a little more slowly, listening for anyone to come in their direction. She dressed and put on her sandals before shaking some of the water out of her hair with her fingers. "What next? Climb to the top or go somewhere else?" She was perfectly content to let him decide.

Stefan looked around, towards the water and also to the upper part of the waterfall. "I wonder if they have anything like a sailboat that we can utilize and do a little  bit  of sailing. The holosuite is all good and fine, however being able to do so in reality, would be just wonderful.  What do  you think, and we can grab a bite to eat, even spend the night at the resort. Or see if there is a cabin on this island that we could stay in."

She liked the island. She also liked being away from the Pioneer and the station. "Let's go sailing, eat, and find a cabin for the night." The more time she spent with Stefan, the more she liked him and that irritated her. At the same time, she wasn't going to walk away from the opportunity to be with him.

"What sort of sailing are we doing?" It was a question she should have asked first, but Kaylara knew she would have said yes regardless.

Stefan smiled  warmly, "Thank you," he stated pulling out the padd to do some quick investigative work, he smiled. "Okay I've got a place booked and there will be a sailboat waiting for us  to utilize." giving a smile.  "Shall we go? we'll need to go back up the path that we took, to get to our destination."

Stefan led the way, up the path and then made a left, he  had a map to where they would be going. Around the bend  there was a little cabin. Not too far was a dock  with a small sailboat moored  to  it. It moving up and down due to  the waves. The cabin was made of wood, beautiful in its simplicity. Inside was a table  chairs and a sofa along with a bed with netting around it.  In the kitchen area was a fridge  with fully stocked shelves. And in the cupboards were dishes and cooking pots and pans  with the  utensils. "Hey looks like we  get to cook dinner." Stefan remarked with a very pleased expression.

Kaylara checked the fridge and cupboards. "Perfect. And no one is going to come looking for us tonight." She smiled, looking forward to the evening. "So, do you want to check out that boat? It's not the same as your pirate ship, but it looks interesting--although you will have to teach me how to sail it."

"I would love to teach you how to sail it." Stefan answered eagerly. "You never know when you will need to know how to.  Or even know  how to find your  way using star charts." he added solemnly. He gestured with his head. "Come on, let’s get sailing." leading the way out of the cabin, and towards the dock where  the sailboat was waiting for them.

Stefan paused when he stopped to where the boat was,  closing his eyes as he felt the wind tease his hair with its invisible fingers and then it moving along to pick up a leaf, the leaf skipping along until it landed in the water, floating there before it sailed further out towards the larger portion of water.

Stefan opened his eyes, turned to face Kaylara to check on her.

Kaylara was looking up at the sky. "Learning to navigate by the stars is important in lots of situations," she said when she felt him watching her. She wasn't familiar with this particular formation, but if she came her often enough, she would. She looked at Stefan and smiled. "I'll follow your lead, captain."
