The announcements continue as posting surges. Let's all keep up the great work and great stories. However, I am sure that none of you want to listen to my hot air and instead would like to see why I interrupted your day.

So without any gilding the lily and no further ado I give you a very special announcement.

Hermia O'Rourke - Hermia joined the Pioneer very soon after the sim was created. In that time I have watched this character grow. She has kept Sick Bay running and is always ready to patch you with a good med post. It is for this reasons and many more that I take pride in promoting Hermia O'Rourke to the rank of Lieutenant Commander with all of the rights and privileges therein. Hermia will also be appointed to the post of Chief Medical Officer of the USS Pioneer.

Keep up the great work Commander and I look forward to some great medical discoveries.
