Reason To Celebrate

Typically on the Pioneer we would wait until a mission closes before announcing promotions or awards. However, with all that is going on in the world right now I feel that a little happiness is warranted. Besides the ship is on Shore Leave at the moment so let's have a celebration. As we enter the dog days of summer, the stories heat up.

So without any gilding the lily and no further ado I give you a very special announcement.

Paul Michael - Paul has been with the Pioneer for over a year as the Assistant Chief Operations Officer. In that year I have seen the character grow and set roots on the ship. Rumor has it there may be wedding bells in this character's future. The Command Team of the Pioneer are believers in promoting from within, especially when it is earned. So when the CONN opened up it was a no brainier. It is with great pride that I promote Paul Michael to the rank of Lieutenant with all of the rights and privileges therein.
