Personal Log,

After the debriefing and realising that it wasn't only a couple of days that I lost, but in fact a whole year, I still can't get my head around it, but I guess that why they have given us shore leave, to relax and come to terms with things.

The hardest thing was letting home known that I was actually alright, after a year I think they had really thought I was dead, mother did nothing but cry in relief and I saw the smile daddy gave me when he saw my face, he understands what we go through, but I even think he had given up hope, but for now they have told me to enjoy myself, let my hair down and just make it home as soon as I can.

With that in mind, I may have named dropped a little while making my reservation on Casperia Prime and I've bagged myself an exclusive oceanfront bungalow normally reserved for the extra special VIP's, complete with private pool, sauna and butler, I may make some of the crew jealous and invite them for a light supper and cocktail, or a fire on the beach with marshmallows, either way, this is my chance to just let my hair down for once and try and get to know people.
