Onwards and Upwards

I hope that this finds everyone well. First and foremost I would like to congratulate you all on earning the Unit of Merit Award for October. I am amazed by your writing and clearly so was the fleet. So thank you and keep it up.

Secondly, some welcomes are long overdue. I would like to extend a hearty welcome to Lieutenant Richard Ballston who joins us as the Chief Medical Officer. The doctor, is an Azzian which is a custom race. Any information pertaining to the race is in the In Character Wiki. Let us welcome this exceptional writer who will be keeping us all healthy and alive while we try to save the galaxy.

Next let us welcome Private First Class Maise Dawes who expands on our growing Marine Detachment. She joins us as a Field Medic... Well someone has to patch em up so they can turn around and get hurt again. In the short time that she has been with us she has shown to be a strong writer with interest in staying for the long haul. So welcome a thousand times welcome.

Now for a SIM update... We are closing in on the official end of Mission 1 Pioneering Spirit and we are beginning mission 2. which will take the ship away from the station and out there... I am looking forward to seeing how you all deal with the hurdles that are set for you to encounter.

Thus far we have two crew members from the USS Fearless who have joined the site and linked their characters. They are Dr Hermia O'Rourke & Ensign Zavior Blackthorne. Feel free to contact them for joint posts when the ship returns to the station. You can also write joint posts over subspace when the ship is not at the station. If you would like to write with any of the other crew members just let me know. More writers will be joining as we progress with the cross sim project. I will keep you all informed of those writers as they join.

Sorry for the long news, but there is a lot to tell... I hope everyone is enjoying writing on the Pioneer and will continue to enjoy it... Now let's see wjhat's out there....
