| General Overview | Makeba was a star pupil at Starfleet Academy. She studied tactics, weapons technology, and the general art of war. What most people did not know about her is that she is an Anarchist. She believes that people should be free from all government rule, and above all should pay for the crimes they commit. | Personal History | Not much is known about Makeba's early life. In fact all that is known is her place of birth. She was born in Nairobi Kenya on Earth in 2339. It seems that when she left Starfleet she made sure that most of her records were destroyed. At the age of 18 she enrolled in Starfleet Academy. She excelled at the Academy through the Tactical and Intelligence tracks graduating in the top three percent of her class. In 2377 Makeba Brown went AWOL from Starfleet Intelligence. She was a Clandestine Operative like her mentor Luther Sloan. At the time it was believed that she disappeared because of Sloan's death. However, the actual reason has not been found out to this day. Intelligence reports have shown her to be in various places all over the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. She was active in the Maquis and escaped capture and death. It is believed that she is currently linked to an organization operating in Cardassian space known as the New Maquis. She is a highly sought after by Starfleet Security as it is unknown how much of the classified information that she was privy to as gotten out. |
