Shore Leave Over - All Personnel to Stations
Posted on Sun Jul 8th, 2018 @ 9:45pm by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
This Shore Leave was quite an enlightening one. We got a deep glimpse into this crew's private lives. We also got to know the crew of one of our sister ships the USS Juno.
As always I want to thank you all for your writing, stories, and your friendship. We now move into the next mission, and I for one am excited to see what you all have cooked up for me to read.
I would also like to take a moment to point out some of the changes on the site. We have a new Wiki which explains the ins and out of our Marine unit. New imagery has gone up as well, including what our ship looks like when the ablative armor is engaged. So have a look around and see what is new,
With the close of Shore Leave I would like to give a few awards for some really impressive posts and work.
Ensign Elloma Essu Captain's Personal Merit -
"For the Shore Leave interlude I would like to recognize Ensign Elloma Essu. The Ensign has provided an idea for story-lines that will not only develop their character more but assisted in getting me to develop a side of mine that I had not thought of before. Their idea also embarks into an area that I do not believe has been breached in a sim before. On a personal note I have not only enjoyed everything that Elloma has written but I enjoy writing with them immensely. I look forward to where this particular sub plot is going to go and how Elloma is going to develop as a whole."
-Captain Tyler Malbrooke-
Lieutenant Commander Richard Ballston MD Crew's Choice Award -
"The Doctor has graciously incorporated me into almost every medical post as his assistant. The posts are filled with excellent medical knowledge.
-Lieutenant Hermia O'Rourke-
Petty Officer Second Class Heidy DiLucca Scheherezade Award -
"I would like to offer this award for the PO2C's work in the post titled "The Turnkey" That post dealt with some harsh issues, and had some tense moments. I not only enjoyed writing this with them but I have found myself rereading it often. As it maintains my interest."
