Mission:
Episode 10 - New Home, Same Pioneers
Location: Various
Timeline: MD012 0100 hrs
Ameri walked close to Quinn as they left Tyler at After 11. She was smiling to herself, thinking about what their friends had to look forward to in the coming months, having a baby.
She looked over at Quinn and spoke her thoughts. “Do you think Enya will be okay for another hour?” They had left the hologram active for any issues
"what do you have in mind?" Quinn ask wondering what she needed the holodeck for, and relations to them. Is mine started racing with the possibilities of fun entertainment.
“I want to go dancing with you,” Ameri said. “And make out some, flirt with each other before we head home. Just an hour for us.”
"That does sound like a promising night." Quinn said, with big loving eyes. The idea of spending time with Ameri was very appealing to him.
Ameri’s eyes lit up.” Then let’s head there.” She was really looking forward to this.”
Quinn grabbed Ameri's hand, and practically hurled down the corridors, before to long they arrived at the holodeck. Quinn could barely contain his excitement to spend some alone time with Ameri. "Time's a wasting." Quinn said, waiting for her to load the program. He was just teasing her, and had a big grin on his face.
Ameri loaded the programs and they were transformed to a place they used to hang out back in their academy days. When they wanted a break from their studies and friends, to just be alone they would go there.
“Would you like to dance, handsome,” Ameri smiled at her husband.
"Lead the way." Quinn said, as they walked through the doors, the program instantly started to play. The recreation, was bringing back memories of their academy days together. That seemed like another life time ago.
“I don’t want to live in the past,” Ameri smiled. “But this place never pulled in the bad crowd and I just want us to dance and have a drink or two.”
"Some times living in the past is a good thing. I love this time period. We have a lot of great memories from this time period." Quinn said, loving the fact that holographic technology allowed them to recreate it.
“We did,” Ameri smiled. “I think of all the things we did back then.” Her eyes were on his as her hands reached for him. “I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.”
"Me too, infact aren't we doing that right now." Quinn said, as he leaned in to give her a kiss.
“Yes we are,”’Ameri put her head on his shoulder and just enjoyed there dancing. She smiled at a memory. “Do you remember what you said to me the first time we danced here?”
"That I love you." Quinn said with a big dopey grin. The love he felt then, he was surely feeling it now.
"Yes," Ameri said with a sigh. "And when I asked you why, you said that I was the most beautiful woman on the dance floor." She pulled her head back and looked at him. "The truth is I knew you were the most handsome man and that I couldn't wait to marry you."
"That does sound familiar." Quinn said, with loving eyes. He remembered how admired she was with him, because he was just admired with her.
“If I had told you we were going to get married one day,” Ameri laughed softly. “You would have ran, admit it.”
"Right to the alter." Quinn said playfully. But deep down, he might have ran. But he was not going to tell her that, and start a fight.
Ameri smiled to herself, thinking there was no way. "Of course you would." She whispered. "I have always said you were intelligent."
"So is that what you love about me?" Quinn said, with a grin on his face. "My intelligence." He asked, in a cute yet seductive voice.
“What I love about you,” Ameri murmured. “There are so many many things.” She laughed softly. “You know I pretty much think you are perfection.”
"Careful baby, put me up to high on that pedastool, you may not be able to reach me." Quinn said, with a warm and loving smile.
“It is the same one you put me on,” Ameri replied with a smile. “We both fall and the other one helps them back up.”
"I do hold you to our high standards my love, and everyday I am grateful for the opportunity you provide to me to be your husband." Quinn said with the loving smile on his face.
“I am just happy to be here with you and Enya,” Ameri smiled at him. “Living our lives and happy.” She kissed him. “Thank you for just being you.”
"I will remind you of this moment, the next time you get upset at me, and maybe you will go easy on me." Quinn said, with a warm loving smile on his face.
“I don’t stay mad though,” Ameri said with a smile. “You know just how to pull my bad mood right out from under me or you make me laugh and suddenly what upset me isn’t important.”
"I do what I can baby." Quinn said, wondering how long they would be beating around the bush. They clearly wanted to tear each other apart.
“Let’s go home,” Ameri said as her eyes stared into his. “I have had enough dancing, I want you to myself in the privacy of our own bedroom.”
"Now that sounds like a plan." Quinn said, as the scene fades away. As it fades, you see Quinn and Ameri dashing out of the holodeck and down the corridors.
Ameri laughed softly as Quinn punched their code in and quickly ushered her to their bedroom, shutting it behind them.
