Mission: Episode 10 - New Home, Same Pioneers
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: MD008 1800 hrs

Jayden smiled as he came into Clarissa’s quarters. He had told her to dress casual, they were going to dinner. He was wearing a button up shirt and dress shorts with sandals. He held a bouquet of flowers behind his back.

“I’m here!” He called out. “You almost ready!” Jayden had reserved a holodeck and they were having dinner on the beach off the coast of Oregon, the state she had grown up in. Then he thought they could take a walk on the beach and maybe go swimming.

"Almost." Clarissa said, still wondering why he had yet fully to move into her quarters, as they had discussed. She had looked into the mirror, as she double checked her look. She thought she looked cute.

Jayden sat down on the couch and waited for her. They really needed to move in together. He was being stupid, he wanted to live with her, he was nervous he might have some quirks she couldn’t handle.

"Are you ready to go?" Clarissa asked, as she fixed her boobs and her bra, the dress was very revealing. So she adjusted them to make sure they looked perfect.

Jayden smiled at her. “In a minute.” He stood and walked over to her. “Yes.” He had that silly grin on his face, the one his family referred to as stupid happy.”

"How do I look?" Clarissa asked, hoping that her man would give her an honest answer.

“You look beautiful,” Jayden said with a smile as he pulled her close and kissed her. “Sexy as hell!”

Clarissa kissed him briefly, then patted his chest, as she stepped back. "You look pretty sexy too." She said, with a big smile on her face.

“I want to look my best when I am with you,” Jayden said with a grin. “I have been looking forward to our date all day.”

"Me too, so lover boy. Where are we off too?" Clarissa asked, as she pulled him close, looking deep into his eyes.

“The holodeck,” Jayden smiled. “I have a special program I did myself, just for us.”

"I can not wait to try it out with you." Clarissa said, as she continued to hold him close, staring into his eyes.

“I wanted it to be something that means a lot to you,” Jayden said as he kissed her. “And that I could share in.”

"You sparked my curiosity. Let's go." Clarissa said, with excitement in her eyes, as they left her quarters.

Jayden took her hand in his as they walked down the corridor towards the holodeck. Once they walked in he spoke. “Computer. Program Oregon.” The scene immediately changed to a beach on the Oregon coast. They stood outside a cottage on the beach, there was a table set for two.

"It's a little chilly, but beautiful." Clarissa said, as she started to head over to the table, that appeared to be preset for the two of them.

“I can have the temperature raised,” Jayden said as he walked beside her and pulled out her chair. “I did as much research as I could to be able to spend time with you on the Oregon beach you talk about.” He wondered if he had messed up.

"It would not be Oregon, if you did that." Clarissa said, with a humble smile on her face. She loved the settling. It was very romantic.

“I have wanted to take you on a date for a while,” Jayden murmured. “And when we talked about growing up, I felt how much you loved being on the Oregon coast so I wanted to come here and experience a taste of it with you.”

"I appreciate the effort. It's beautiful. You did a great job." Clarissa said, thinking to herself, this is why she loves this man. He does sweet things like this for her.

"Dinner is your favorite," Jayden continued. "We have the holodeck for the night so we can do what we wish from there."

"I like the sound of that." Clarissa said, as she put her arms around her man. She slowly leaned in for a romantic kiss on the beach.

Jayden kissed her deeply. He was feeling very emotional, wanting to show her how much she meant to him in a way she would appreciate and understand. He didn't want to let go of her but hold her forever.

Clarissa had kissed him for a good long moment. After she pulled away, she looked into his eyes. "When are you moving in to our home?" Clarissa decided to ask, at this very moment. She wanted him to come home to her, not sneak off to his own place.

Jayden looked at her for a long moment. "As soon as you get permission for me to officially be there from command." He smiled as he just went with it and made the decision. "I know you have wondered why I didn't a long time ago."

"Done, I know your boss, she knows the first officer." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face.

“Then when we get done here we can go grab my stuff,” Jayden said with a smile. “I don’t have much left there and I sort of packed already.”

Clarissa had a big smile on her face, "I'm happy to hear that I was hoping today would be the day." Clarissa said that she leaned in for another kiss.

Jayden kissed her. “So was I. This evening is the start of the next step for us, making our living together official.”

"if that's what it takes baby then let's say it's official." Clarissa said with a big grin on her face.

Jayden leaned in for another kiss. “Officially each other’s.” It probably sounded kind of teenage like but he didn’t care. She was his and he was hers and that was right for them.

Clarissa thought they both sounded very corny. But she did not care. She loved the fact, that he was moving in. No more beating around the bush, about it. "The date, we should continue it." Clarissa said, as stared into his eyes, and tried to get them back on topic of the date.

“Oh right!” Jayden pulled out her chair for her and then sat across from her. “This is nice!”

"It really is, you have outdone yourself." Clarissa told him. She was very impressed with how well, he had done with this particular program.

“You go first,” Jayden pointed to the covered dishes. “It is your favorite meal, tell me if I got it right.”

"It smells good." Clarissa said with a big grin on her face. "I am not going to hold you accountable, if its wrong. You can not control the replicator settings." Clarissa pointed out to him.

“You make a good point,” Jayden said with a smile. “And your right, it does smell very good.” He waited for her to serve herself first.

Clarissa grinned as she served herself first. "It looks very good, it smells very good." She simply said, with a big smile on her face.

Jayden waited for her to finish and then added some food to his plate. He took a bite and smiled. "For replicated, it isn't too bad, maybe it's the atmosphere."

"It could be that, plus the company is very nice too." Clarissa said, as she took another smile bite from her plate. The taste was not to bad, for replicated.

"What did you think I had in mind," Jayden said with a smile. "I worked hard to keep it a secret. It was why I was late getting to your place, I was working on the program."

"I am very impressed, but don't feel like you need to keep things from me. Could have been fun to be teased, saying you were doing this, and making me wait to try it out with you." Clarissa pointed out to him.

"I should have thought of that," Jayden grinned. "Next time I am going to do that. How was your day?" He was always interested in all parts of her life.

"It was good, and trust me, when its my turn to plan out a day for you. You better believe it, when I say I am going to torture you leading up to the days of the date." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face.

"I am looking forward to that," Jayden smiled at her. "I am already trying to imagine what you will come up with for our date." Clarissa had a quick mind and came up with some original ideas.

"Good." Clarissa said, as the scene starts to fade away.

Jayden just sat and stared at her for a little bit. He was glad his surprise had ended up being a success.
