Quinn was still a little annoyed that Tyler had given him the order as he left the room. He understood Tyler's reasoning. However that did not change his moral convictions on how he felt, about telling someone, "hey congrats, your getting married." Quinn silently walked over to his chair, and took a seat. He needed a couple of minutes to clear his head.

There was small chatter in the distance. But he started to pour over the daily reports, from Delta Shift. Nothing out of the ordinary from them. Nor did he expect there to be, they were still at the station.

Quinn read through all the reports, it really did not take him very long. An uneventful night. Most of the crew was on liberty, and on the station. So there was so transporter and airlock activity, but that was to be expected.

Quinn wondered why any society would allow arranged marriages. It seemed to go against, everything he stood for. He believed in free will, and allowing people to choose for themselves. He could not see the benefit in it. He stared at the report, as he got lost in thought. Thinking about this.

Quinn had left his ready room, and entered the bridge with Ameri, she was manning her station, while he sat alone in his chair. He was thinking of things to do, to keep him distracted.

Quinn debated if he should start a call with Ambassador Solwick, to notify her that the deed was done. His part in this little operation was now over.

Quinn decided why not to himself. He opened a channel with Ambassador Solwick. He knew he was speaking on behalf of the captain and needed to keep his calm with her. She was doing nothing wrong. His moral dilemma's were of his own doing. Not cause of her. And he needed to remind himself of that.

"Yes who is this?" Krisna called out, a little annoyed on the other end. She had no idea, who was calling her, or what they wanted. Her time was precious. She had a massage to get too.

"Commander Quinn Ó Flannagáin, First Officer of the USS Pioneer. Quinn said, with a warm smile on his face. He was doing his best to fake his annoyance around her.

"Did Captain Malbrooke complete his task?" Krisna asked, with scolding tone to her. She was annoyed that this first officer was calling her, and not the captain.

"He assigned me to complete it, and I have spoken with Ensign Zaire Bryne, he has been notified. Per your instructions." Quinn said, in a humble tone, still trying to keep his composure. He was not a fan of arranged marriages.

"Good, but I told your Captain to handle this." Krisna said, with a tone of annoyance in her voice.

"It was handled Ambassador, is there anything else I can assist you with today?" Quinn asked, in a calm and collected voice.

"Careful of what you offer Commander, I might take you up on that." Krisna said, with an agitated look on her face. She wanted some real answers, on what happened to her daughter. For the moment, she was going to resist.

Quinn throat went dry, and the utter words of her saying that. "I mean in relations to this current situation." Quinn then quickly tried to regroup this. He knew that Ambassadors were very sneaky.

Krisna laughed, as she had that devilishly smile on her face. "Very good Commander, I see that you are very experienced in diplomacy." Krisna said, as she impressed with his answer.

Quinn was not sure if he should take that as a compliment or if you should run. "Thank you ambassador." Quinn said as he nodded his head in a sign of respect.

"I still need to talk to the Captain, arrange that for me Commander. He will after all need to prepare for my arrival. He will be preforming the ceremony." Krisna told Quinn with a serious look on her face.

She was not going to bother to ask him. If he wanted to be rude, and pass off the buck of sharing the good news, then she was going to make him suffer. Plain and simple in her eyes.

"I will have a conversation with the Captain, and notify him." Quinn said, trying to hold back a smile. He knew Tyler would not be able to pawn that off on him.

"You do that, tell him, don't even think about passing off this assignment to anyone else." Krisna said in a scolding tone.

"I will relay your message Ambassador, I should probably catch up to him, so I can relay the message." Quinn said, as he shifted the conversation, to its natural end point.

"Make sure you do Commander, good day Commander." Krisna said, as the channel closed.

Quinn took a breath, a big sigh of relief. As he leaned back into his seat. He thought to himself, that was a difficult woman to please. And her demeanor was a little aggressive. To aggressive for him. He could tell, she was a real strong alpha type of personality. The scene starts to fade away.
