Mission: Episode 5 - It Would Be Their Pleasure
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: MD010 1100 hrs

When Jennifer returned from their mission back on the Pioneer, and she pulled herself out of her suit, she made way to the medical bay. Several marines had told her to get checked out, even though she wanted to get a shower. She smelled like the farm from her uncle George. That thing also sneezed and drooled all over her, and she wanted that washed off as soon as possible. But the pain in her ribs and her stomach reminded her that it might not hurt more to pay a visit to the doctor first.

She walked in to sickbay, all smelly, with an arm around her stomach. It didn't make her feel better, but mentally it helped. "Doctor, are you there?" She called as she leaned on a bio bed.

From the lab, Richard tilted his head and at the sound of the familiar voice. He could tell from the tone she was in pain and put the beaker back on it's resting place, it's bluish green mixture swirling about, and headed into sickbay as he did.

"Miss Masters?" The Azzian mustered as he approached reaching for his tricorder with his right hand, "what happened?"

Jenn coughed a bit painful and then said, "Well, I would be laughing about the thing if it this didn't hurt so much." She wanted to get on the bio bed, but then decided to keep leaning against it. She then continued talking as she said, "I had an unpleasant and up close encounter with a bull Minotaur. A small one and it had tennis balls on his horns, or something like that. But it still hurts like hell."

Readings were already coming back from the CMO's tricorder and he shook his head, "that would explain the internal bleeding and deep bruising."

He reached over to his utility belt and took off a small cylindrical device. The red light on the side of the cylinder flickered as he began a slow pass over her abdomen, "this is the next generation of the vascular regenerator." Richard offered a faint smile, "works a bit deeper than the older models and a bit more precise."

She held still as he was using his device. "Well, you're the doctor. I trust you can fix this." Even trying to hold still seemed to hurt. "Well, that is something I can add to my resume, I have been on my first away mission, and I got injured. That woman, Xoica, she called me a princess. Well, if anything I am not used to much I guess."

"A princess?" Richard offered a smile as his eyes raised from his work, "well your majesty, when you're comfortable I'd like you to lay on the biobed."

"What's you're definition of comfortable?" Jenn asked as she got on the biobed, moaning and growling. "And, doctor, please don't call me majesty, if anything a princess is highness, but I am not a princess. I smell like the farm of my uncle George and I feel like I have been hit by a bull. Well I was hit by a bull."

The physician's eyes twinkled at the woman's protests and tilted his head, "not sure your present aroma disqualifies you from being a princess." He moved to the foot of the bed glancing up at the wall behind her, "at least there is no broken bones, torero."

She chuckled. "Oh you're right of course, per usual. I just don't like to admit it. Funny how I talked to the counselor about this a few days ago. I didn't want to be like my twin sister. But if I learned anything from this mission is that I am exactly like her. Except I am still the family hacker." She blew hard through her mouth of the pain. "Well, that's lucky then."

"But you're so good at it." The doctor moved to his patient's side and took another tool from his belt and began healing more injuries, "you're sister better watch out, surviving a bull attack is proves how tough you are."

Jenn smiled. "Thank you, doctor, that actually made my day. I hadn't thought of that. So, how long do you think I am in here for? This princess is dying to get a shower." She giggled at that.

"Twenty minutes." Richard chuckled and glanced up at Jenn, "I recommend a water shower rather than a sonic one for getting rid of oders."

"Agreed" Jenn said. "I like mine hot and relaxing. And I got this great smelling a soothing shower gel to go with." She was already looking forward to that prospect.

Dr. Ballston nodded, "my wife Lei’hallah loves a hot bath with flower petals floating in it." He chuckled I still feel guilty using all that water and energy."

Jenn nodded. "Well, I hope it was worth it and you got something for it in return." She had to think about the day that Billy took her to see the planet rings. The sight was beautiful and the scene was just perfect.

"Anytime I can do to make her happy it's worth it," He chuckled and shook his head, "I just remember when water was at a premium on starships, now we seem to be able to produce it rather cheaply."

"Well, compared to you," Jenn said, "I am a baby, cause I don't remember such times. But what I do know is, spending time, putting a lot of time in a moment is really all that counts. It tells her you love her. Sometimes actions are more powerful than words." She smiled. "You must love her very much if you're willing to do all those things for her."

"Oh I do," Richard replied as he put his instrument back and walked a short distance to a cabinet. He chuckled as he removed a hypospray, "cherishing each moment we can with those we love gives the most value to our lives no matter how long they are."

She nodded. "That is just so true." She stared in front of her a moment. Then she looked back to the doctor. "What you got there for me?" She asked curiously.

"Bicaridine." The physician smiled as he walked back over towards her, "I'll give you the hypospray so you can determine your dose but you can't go over two cc dose in total and can give yourself point zero two to point zero five of a cc at a time." He nodded at her as he handed it to her, "just stay out of the way of bulls no matter how small they are."

She giggled and took the hypospray. "Not sure what it is, but you're the doctor. And I am not fond of medication so I am sure I wouldn't go over your instruction." She held it up and nodded to the doctor. "Well, thank you I guess, and I yea I do think it would be wise to stay out of the way of bulls."

"pain killer," Richard said with a chuckle. He watched stepped back and motioned towards the door, "you'll be a bit sore for a few days but I see no reason to restrict your duties."

"Thank you, doctor," she said walking out of sickbay. After talking to the doctor. She could really need a shower. Maybe even a hot bath.
