Mission: Episode 5 - It Would Be Their Pleasure
Location: After 11 Lounge
Timeline: MD008 1830 hrs

Larim looked into a padd, Lax was due pretty soon and he was checking the arrival time of the Hornet when he walked into after 11. 'Could use a drink." he said to himself. He walked up to the counter.

"What can I get you, lieutenant?" the bartender asked.

"Hmm?" Larim said. "Oh, I didn't see you there."

The bartender laughed. "No worries. Get it all the time" he grinned

"Uh...just give me a scotch I guess. Neat. synthehol is fine." he said.

"Coming right up." he said.

"Thanks"

Jennifer walked in to the lounge. After her meeting with her department, she was in need of a little break. After skimming the room she noticed Larim at the bar. She walked over to the bar. She looked over to what Larim was having. She pointed to him as she talked to the bartender, who wanted to take her order and said, "I'll have what he is having." She then turned to Larim. "Lieutenant, it's been a while. How are you?" She asked as she took the glass of scotch from the bartender.

"Good as can be expected." He said. "Yourself? Heard about the promotion by the way"

She giggled. "And I heard you had something to do with it." She smelled her glass and then took a sip and then continued on saying. "I am doing good. Trying to fit in to my new role as chief intelligence."

"You'll do fine" Larim grinned

"Heh," She said with a sigh "No everyone agrees with you on that. But I think I can handle that. So do you still have nightmares?" She asked. "She was still scared about encountering this new and improved Borg.

"It was definitely unsettling." Larim said. "Never been that scared before except in 74"

"I have never been scared like that before at all. And I have been in to some pretty nasty shit." She grinned. "I never worked with the most decent or legal of people to be honest. Don't worry, I was careful not to piss anyone off."

"Well that's good news at least." He smiled.

"Although, I may have to watch my step here on the Pioneer. Not everyone likes it I stepped over their heads and made chief." She grinned. "So, I know you, I know Lieutenant Wakefield, I know Lieutenant Temble our marine CO, tell me about the other senior staff?" She asked. "I am the new odd duck out."

"More like the newbie I'd say. The fresh voice" he laughed. "The Doc is a good guy. Also Lt Zano."

Then Larim had an idea. "You know what Jen? Lets continue this on the planet. I'm sure a change of scenery would do us a host of good.

Jen nodded and the pair made for the transporter room.
