Mission: Episode 4 - The Sum of Our Parts
Location: Moore's Quarters - Deck 4 - USS Pioneer
Timeline: MD001 1100 hrs

Moore drummed his fingers on the desk as he read the FNN story again. The Black Sun had struck a Starfleet base on another small colony and gotten away with pulse rifles. Andrew shook his head, while the story didn't say, he knew one of the casualties was their inside source, eliminated after the got in. Black Sun didn't share and they didn't leave loose ends. He'd tried to contact the security division on the colony to confirm but they wouldn't give him anything, stating if they need someone to play counselor then they'll call him.

It had taken everything he had not to put his fist through the screen. So, he did what any resourceful officer would have, he attempted to hack into the colony secure database. After 3 hours he was no where closer to getting any of the answers he wanted, "you stupid piece of..." he muttered as another access denied message popped up in red.

He shoved his chair back and stood up, pacing as he ran his thumb and finger down the corners of his mouth as he thought. He paced around the room for a minute before snapping his fingers and hurrying out, "Moore to Petty Officer Masters, do you have a minute....."
