It had been half an hour since her vision/dream/communication or what ever you wanted to call it. She was visibly shaken and had caused her arm to bleed by scratching it trying to see if she could find what her 'Uncle' had put into it, if anything.

She had wandered out of her quarters still in her white tank top and shorts, her hair hadn't seen a brush and she was in a daze walking past crew that just seemed to stop and stare. Amelia was mumbling something in El-Aurian (sounds Elvish), that her father wanted both his children to learn to somehow connect them to what was lost. Tears streamed from her eyes as she truly didn't know what was going on. Had her Uncle done something to her? Was is all in her mind? If so then how did she have a scar she'd never noticed before, or how did she manage to get a cut across her cheek from where he had struck her in this 'mind tap'?

As she staggered down the corridor she bumped into someone's back, someone tall but then again she was only 5ft so everyone was tall in comparison.

Larim was dressed in a grey T shirt and sweats, intending to get some running in when he felt the bump. He was hit with powerful feelings right away. The turned and saw the counselor looking rather disheveled.

"Are you ok?" he asked, concern very much present in his voice.

"Elasa nora 'Borg'... I'm not sure, I need to get this out my arm." she said showing him the 'digging' she had been doing with her nails but not making eye contact with him, staring blankly ahead.

In truth El-Aurians minds are trained to withstand a lot of telepathy, to become a strong mind to withstand what the universe helped them to perceive but she was only 30 and in truth to El-Aurians she would still be in school receiving education. They weren't really expected to go out into the working world unless they joined the military or excelled in a certain field of study.

"Thank you tall man." she said patting him on the face with her bloodied hand not realising, "I just need to... find... Skato."

Larim didn't know who this "Skato" was. He did know the womans mind was an emotional torrent. Add her apparent disorientation to this, he did what was natural to him. He offered help. He ignored the blood and took her by the hand.

"I'm Lt Myles." he smiled. "Lets see if we can't get you some help." His mind registered the word "Borg" as well. He tried to emphatically reach out. Avoiding specifics, just to calm her down. "I'm here for you." he said, reassuringly.

There was a slight interference she could feel in her mind, as if someone was trying to get in but her mind tried to frantically throw up 'firewalls' as her species' defence mechanisms.

"Myles... Security chief, half betazoid. Feels sad to be apart from family." she shook her head to try and clear out some fuzz that was bothering her but she did begin to calm slightly. Her mannerisms were less fidgety, her speech returning to English.

"Yes, that's me.' he replied, keeping the reassuring smile up.

She had read his file, as she had all senior staff, and hope she hadn't hit a nerve with the family comment. She wasn't in the right frame of mind and words kept coming out without a filter.

"Sickbay... I need to get this out of me." she gestured to her arm she had been trying to get into. "He put it there and I can't be assimilated..." she said calmly, his mind calming clearly affecting her in some manner.

He nodded. He tore a strip from his pant leg. "Lets get this bound first." he said, remembering his first aid. Assimilated? he asked himself as he helped her along.

"Thank you Lieutenant." She said as he wrapped her arm, no doubt she would still have a scratch at the wound but still it did no harm. "Yes... he put Borg technology in me?" she exclaimed holding up her forearm, "Can you see it? I've been trying to find it for a while..."

She was in a state of calmed confusion now she had met Lt. Myles and he had placed some soothing feelings onto her. It still remained however that what she had seen via her telepathic connection with her Uncle had frightened her into a frenzy, a panic that tore her from reality if even for a short time.

He saw no Borg tech, but he wasn't going to argue. His concern was mixed in with his duties as security. He couldn't ignore the word "Borg". He spoke up. "I don't see it. But no ones getting assimilated on my watch." he said, continuing to help her along.

Amelia smiled and walked with Myles towards a turbolift, then they would be off to Sickbay for her to be checked out.
