Captain Edmund Merrick
Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:45pm
Perhaps a continuation, but I'm still applauding the hard work Ed's writer has been doing on the Poseidon Crossover. Crossovers are hard to get done and yes it does help to write both SIM's. It's still a good bit of work well done and deserving of praise.
Lieutenant Ja'sol H'ros
Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:10pm
I am submitting this award on behalf of Major Cornelius Tremble. "During this mission the Lieutenant has shown exemplary writing on to sides of a very intricate plot. The story arch in the prison ends on a cliff hanger and I am excited to see where that can go in the future. Then he helped run the attack on the Romulan compound. Really great work and great planning."
Sergeant Major Lachlan Barr

It's a tough field because we have great writers, but when I thought about what I was most appreciative of at this point in time was a strong Command Staff (because they've been carrying some of my load). Command does a lot because we enjoy it. In this instance, I want to recognize our Chief of the Boat and thank them for their hard work, time and attention to the SIM.
Lieutenant Commander Hermia O'Rourke
Tue May 3rd, 2022 @ 3:22am
Aboard Pioneer, there's always plenty of reasons to hand out recognition. I'm proffering this award for the writer not only stepping up to take on Department Head for medical, but for the many voices they've brought to Pioneer over the years. Even though it's an XO's merit, I think I can also speak for the crew in thanking you.
Lieutenant Commander Vaebn tr'Hwersuil
Tue Nov 23rd, 2021 @ 6:42am
I chose Vaebn's writer for this award as he had a hand in both missions (Family Matters & The-Ties-That-Bind), contributing both to the overall SIM as well as pushing character development and letting us all see more of what makes Vaebn tick.

Good job.
Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Wed Oct 28th, 2020 @ 7:03am
Captain Tyler Malbrooke truly deserves this award. He personally lead his crew, in the efforts of our September 200 challenge. He is an incredible character, and his writer is fun to work with. And motivates his crew to give their best!
Makeba Brown
Tue May 5th, 2020 @ 3:09am
In the past we have looked players and not particularly the character behind the player. In this case, I want to look at the character. Makeba is a very complex character, and a lot of fun to interact with in the siming world. Despite her short comings and questionable loyalties, you just want to read more about this character. Makeba Brown is deserving of the XO Merit Award.
Lieutenant JG Mira Jayna
Sun Dec 29th, 2019 @ 5:51pm
Since coming aboard the sim, this officer has proven her worth to the sim. I can think of no one more deserving of this award than Jayna. She has really helped to progress the story and sub plot stories forward.

What a great addition to the fleet. This writer and the character herself, is a fun read. I love how Ameri has come to life. First being an npc, to becoming a playable character. She personality traits are wonderful, and so is her sassy irish humor. I have enjoyed watching this character develop.
Major Cornelius Tremble

Second Lieutenant Cornelius Tremble, a remarkable writer. Always eager and willing to post on the USS Pioneer. He is a shinning example of a good simmer, and a great leader. I am so excited to be giving him this award.
Ensign Dana Wakefield
Tue Jan 1st, 2019 @ 4:46am
Out of 33 characters currently assigned to the USS Pioneer, a few officers shined at the top of my list. Leading the pack at this time is Lieutenant Junior Grade Dana Wakefield. She has over 21 mission posts, since joining the USS Pioneer. Despite being a busy holiday season, she managed to get out three mission posts. She is a shinning example of a great writer. Her posts are a delight to read, and can not wait to see what she brings for the rest of 2018 and the upcoming year of 2019.
Lieutenant Commander Larim Myles
Tue Oct 16th, 2018 @ 12:10am
This mission saw the Lieutenant go through some trying times away from the sim. However, during this time he managed to stay up with his posting. He even managed to quicken the speed of his tags. Time management can be very hard, and I want to recognize him for keeping it together. Great work, now keep it up.
Lieutenant Commander Hermia O'Rourke
Mon May 21st, 2018 @ 11:27pm
This award goes to Jared for his combined play of his Marine Corpmen and his new PC that will be coming on in the form of Lieutenant Hermia O'Rourke. The reason for the Merit award is because of the their ability to constantly having quality tags that help move the stories along as well as the ability to hold the readers engagement. I have had the chance to write a few time with them and really enjoy the experience.

What can one say beyond the very simple fact...I would be lost with Jack/Fred. Since standing up to become the Marine CO we have seen the marines of the USS Pioneer go from one level to the next. With the work gone into the evolution of the team's and their positions, the work behind the scenes in building characters and their units...Fred has done a hell of alot in such a short space of time.
Beyond this there is the work he has put into his role as Second Officer of the ship. He has always been vocal and weighted his opinions on mission plans and ideas. He has never been afraid to be a bouncing board, bouncing further ideas and evolution of ideas right back.
Fred has been an asset to the ship since the day he joined and I feel deserves full recognition for this.

Sat Jan 6th, 2018 @ 5:32pm
What can you say...a wonderful person and a wonderful writer.

Jen has managed to take a emotionless Vulcan and document her trials of having just come from the Academy to her first posting and amalgamating with a new crew who are, quite frankly, full of emotions and aren't afraid to show them ;)

Jen hasn't been afraid to take on what is a difficult species to write and to just make it work. She's jumped in head first, encouraging all the writers to JP with her and helping to character build when it's been needed.

I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award for Dec 2017.
Petty Officer 1st Class Tobias Beckett
Fri Dec 1st, 2017 @ 10:25am
This person I’ve chosen as although he’s very quiet about what he does, I personally know how much input he’s given to getting the SIMM both up and running. As a TGCO he was the motivation behind moving Tyler to become a CO and starting his own SIMM. As a person with website talents, he stepped in to help with the website design and educating our CO on elements he could then expand upon himself. As a crew member he’s engaged new crew in discord and motivated new writers to join. As a person he’s been a sounding block for me at times in both personal and SIMM related. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award for my first nomination.
