The "Flight of the Serenity" was anything but serene. It took a lot of planning both in character and out of character to get this sequence planned. It has all the confusion and intensity that you would expect from a Star Trek style action sequence. Great work all around.

The Dark Shores series of posts began with a scientific expedition that got raided. Simple enough right, wrong... The writers on this team rolled with every punch I gave them and kept me guessing with the strategy they developed to overcome the attackers. With this being the lynchpin of the overall plot they made it exciting and showed brilliant tactics. Great work!!
Staff Sergeant Shayla Kunadt

A huge portion of the mission Empok's End was battle. Both between ships and on the ground. I am awarding this award to everyone who participated in this epic battle scenes. Scenes that can be hard to write as they are very visual. These writers deserve special recognition for making you feel like you were there in the heat of battle. Awarded for the portrayal of Makeba Brown, Flarn, Shayla Kunadt and others.

This past mission was Marine heavy and combat heavy. Whenever the Gunny tagged in and/or posted they were simply a joy to read. Action packed with his Marines being flawed as well as being the heroes. For the first time this award is to be given I can think of no better Marine to receive it. I look forward to seeing what Trembles team will do next to preserve the peace.

The Petty Officer has shown a great skill for commanding battle posts. His alternate character was given the lead to defend Main Engineering from Maquis and came up with an original way for the outcome to develop. I not only love to read this post, but I enjoyed writing it with him. I direct you to the post titled Vying For Control. It is for this reason that for the first time this award is presented on the naval side I can think of no one better.
