Lieutenant JG Mira Jayna Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:45pm |
Through a series of posts during shore leave we're seeing many aspects to Jayna which have brought this NPC alive and revealed parts of them that many primary PC's don't. Spinning off Crimson Tide problems from the last mission through shore leave, Jayna's write has established this NPC. They're also a whole lot of fun to write with. Nice work. |
Petty Officer 2nd Class Sofia Cipriani Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:29pm |
Sofia has shown a lot of growth as being the captain's yeoman and also having a blossoming romance with Gaagii. It has truly been a pleasure watching her development. |
Lieutenant Junior Grade Mignon Mejia Tue Mar 21st, 2023 @ 8:10pm |
This mission brought the Ensign to the forefront in a big way. Having to cut off your own foot is something special to say the least. Mejia wrote the transformation due to medicated torture superbly. It was indeed a pleasure to read and goes to show how someone who is not a "main" character can effect the entire story. |
Gunnery Sergeant Gaagii Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:55pm |
NPC's give us an opportunity to try different voices and maybe take a break from the same old same old. For GM's, it's a little different as they help fill out the rosters of away teams and mission profiles where you need a choir to tell the right story. And it's nice to get them out and learn more about them. We don't often get to hear from our Recon guru, but he's a very cool character and I want to think the boss for airing him out lately. |
Senior Chief Petty Officer Sha’Zen D'Tem Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:54pm |
Sha'Zen has been involved in all aspects of the science portion of this mission. She's great to write with and has some...unique responses to situations that really enhance posts. |
Mr Tumnus Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:53pm |
Mr Tumnus gets everywhere. Most departments are familiar with the ship cat, including the Marines. The adventures of the cat are a delight to read. |
Lieutenant Commander Katherine Malbrooke Tue May 3rd, 2022 @ 3:23am |
Focusing on Even Captain's Need Shore Leave, I'm nominating K. Malbrooke in this because developing characters is always more fun when you have someone else to write with. In this case, Katherine's write worked with the Captain in writing a really good post that opened up the relationship between the two characters in an environment away from the ship. NPC's are an important part of a SIM in adding more voices, differing points of view and even some drama. Nicely done. |
Captain Larta Daughter of Shog Tue Nov 23rd, 2021 @ 6:52am |
I would like to grant this award to Larta. Having a friend in the Empire is always a benefit. She seems to constantly have the ability to show up right when we need her. She is the consummate Klingon and I am excited to see what happens between her and our XO. |
Lieutenant Paul Michael Wed Oct 28th, 2020 @ 7:03am |
For Lieutenant Josh Randall, whose interaction with my character has me thinking about aspects of her character I didn't expect to, and inspiring as few new ideas of how I pay her, and future responses. |
Chloe de la Vega Wed Jan 30th, 2019 @ 6:15am |
|
Lieutenant Amelia Zano Psy.D. Mon May 21st, 2018 @ 11:27pm |
Awarded for the creation and portrayal of Chloe de la Vega. The bartender moved in and hit ship running. A fast favorite of most if not all of the crew. I always look forward to reading what she will be up to next. |
Sat Jan 6th, 2018 @ 5:46pm |
I would like to award this for the portrayal of Ensign Suzie Quinn. The Ensign is a counselor in the ship's medical department and has added to the world of this sim immensely. Her attempts to evaluate the crew are entertaining and at times humorous. I look forward to seeing how this erstwhile NPC will corner the CO into a counseling session. |
