Mission:
Episode 10 - New Home, Same Pioneers
Location: XO Ready Room
Timeline: MD012 1000 hrs
Ameri picked up the pad that Ensign Raine has given her and headed for Quinn’s office. She had also brought her own to show how they would deal with the extra power the ensign required.
Stopping at his office she rang his buzzer and waited for him to give her permission to enter.
"Enter." Quinn called out, wondering who it was. He was not expecting one. He was going over a few reports. Nothing that needed his attention, at the moment.
“Commander,” Ameri used his official title when she entered. “You have a few minutes to look at something?” It always felt weird calling him that but it was respect on the job.
"So formal Lieutenant, I think I could get use to this." Quinn said, with a playful grin on his face. As he went on to say. "Permission granted."
Ameri sat down and smiled at him. “The door wasn’t closed yet , I decided I should use protocol.” She loved the look on his face. “But it was worth your reaction, I might have to do it more often.”
"Now now Lieutenant. You can flirt and use protocol at the same time. That would be unethical and unmoral." Quinn said, in a teasing voice. He was curious what brought her by.
“I will remember that, Commander,”‘Ameri smiled. “I had a visit from Ensign Raine today.” She passed a pad over to him. “And request for additional power for some of her diplomatic equipment and wondered if it was feasible. I explained that while it is, I would need to clear it by you first.”
Quinn grabbed the data padd. "This is pretty vague, what is planning on doing with the extra power. diplomatic equipment is a vague response, and not one that will likely make me stamp yes on her proposal." Quinn started to say to his lovely wife.
"I could message her and request she send a detailed report of what the power will be used for," Ameri nodded. "I would recommend that, in fact, because in an emergency situation we will be routing her power elsewhere."
"Sounds like a course of action." Quinn said, trying to keep things very professional. But that smile, drove him made with lust and passion. After all this time, he still loved being in the same room with her. And desire her more and more.
Ameri looked at him. “It’s that smile right there that just makes me want to forget why I came here or that I am in duty.” She smiled then and gave him a sexy look. “I hope you aren’t working over today.”
"No." Quinn said, with passion in his eyes. He was going to get home to this beautiful face, as soon as he could.
“Good thing,” Ameri smiled. “Because I have plans for you tonight, don’t disappoint me.”
"What about right now?" Quinn asked, as he pulled closer to her location. Trying his best to lay on his charm.
Ameri looked at Quinn. “Here?” She couldn’t decide if he was serious or not.
"Surely you can steal a kiss from the first officer, while your alone with him, in his office. Don't worry he wont tell your husband." Quinn said, with a big grin on his face. He had a playful tone to his voice.
“In that case,” Ameri said with a smile. She stood up and came around the desk and kissed him. “That is an exception to orders I approve of.”
"in order, I was thinking more of a suggestion." Quinn said with the teasing voice and a look that just said he wanted to rip her clothes off right then and there.
“I like your suggestions,”’Ameri smiled at him, her eyes were glowing. “You are a bad boy, Quinn.”
"I would not go that far, my love." Quinn said, liking the way she was thinking. But regretting the fact they were both on duty.
“You are,” Ameri nodded. “But not that bad, I need to get back to work and you have work to do I am sure.”
"Duty calls my love, but will pick this up later." Quinn said, as he leaned in for a kiss, as the scene starts to fade away.
Ameri kissed him back and grabbed her pad, heading on her way back to work.
