Clarissa held the arm of Jayden tightly, as they stepped off the transporter padd. Clarissa had wanted to stop by the station, before they left, and have a look around. She wanted to head to the promenade area, and see if they had any romulan whiskey or romulan fashion. She was curious about the culture. Plus she had heard that the whiskey was really good.

Jayden smiled as he looked around, looking at Clarissa. “This was a good idea. I was thinking I need to pick up a couple shirts while we’re here.”

"You do need a few shirts, not those replicated ship t shirts."Clarissa pointed out to him. She hated his sense of fashion. Replicated shirts with the ship logo on them, was not fashion. It was practical yes, but there is more to a man than his practical sense of worth.

“See that was what I was thinking,” Jayden replied with a grin. “Someone has made some subtle hints to me and I couldn’t agree more.”

"That person must have made a good influence, to get you to go shopping with the queen of shopping." Clarissa suggested with a big teasing tone. She loved to shop, but she got the feeling, that he did not.

“She is a very good influence on me,” Jayden said with a grin. “I want to change my image and I am counting on you to help me.” He smiled at her. “As painless as possible.”

"I dunno about that, there might be some pain and some kicking and screaming coming from you, before this is all over." Clarissa suggested, with a teasing grin.

“I am a terrible shopper,” Jayden confesses. “But I promise to be on my best behavior if you help me out.” He would suffer through shopping if she helped him.

"Yes you are, but I believe I can train you." Clarissa said, with a big grin. She was not relenting at all on the teasing. She was surprised he was letting her get away with it.

“Train me,” Jayden repeated her words. “To tolerate it or to embrace it.” He smiled at her waiting for her to answer.

"Or you can try to accept it." Clarissa pointed out to him, with a big grin on her face. She knew for him, it would be hard for him to accept.

“Hmmm,” Jayden tilted his head sideways. “Acceptance is something I can do. As well as carry the purchases so you can be free to look.”

"Carry the purchases, no that is dangerous of you to say, I was going to shop lightly, but if you are willing to carry my bags." Clarissa said, with a devilish grin on her face.

“I am all yours today,” Jayden said with a grin. “And I thought maybe I could use more than a couple shirts.”

"Agreed, that whole ship t shirt look is not working for you." Clarissa teased, with a big grin on her face. She enough of seeing the ship t-shirt. If she did not know better, she would think he was paid, to sponsor the ship logo.

“I couldn’t agree more.” Jayden smiled. “It’s time to change my look.” He pointed to a store. “Want to go in there?”

"Really?" Clarissa said, wondering what he was up to, and what happened to her man. She expected more resistance from him.

“I hate shopping,” Jayden replied honestly. “But I realize that hardly anyone dresses in those awful shirts and I really don’t care for them either. So I am attempting to try and be a good about this.”

"Very commendable." Clarissa said with a grin on her face, as she took his arm and walked into the store with him. Holding him from fleeing the area.

Jayden glanced around as they walked in and a memory of shopping when he was younger hit him. He had terrible taste in clothes, always picking out things that didn’t suit him.

"See anything you like?" Clarissa asked, as she walked them over to a shirt rack. She was going to start small with him, and work her way up to polo's.

Jayden looked at the shirts on the rack,” This blue one.” He said as he pulled it out. “What do you think?”

"Meh." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face. She was giving him a hard time. The shirt looked fine. "What about this lime green and mango design one?" Clarissa countered him, with a teasing grin. She was totally joking around. She knew he could not pull off lime green and mango.

Jayden’s eyes widened. “Uh....I don’t think that is quite my color.” He reached over and looked at it. “The blue one is better.”

"Probably right." Clarissa said, with a grin, as she took the shirt from him, and put it up against his chest. "It's not bad."

“I am not really good at this,” Jayden said with a smile. “But that shirt would be seen on a starship light years away.”

"Sometimes, you want to draw attention to yourself, the trick is to learn how to use it to your advantage." Clarissa pointed out to him. She was not sure if he could do that, pull off that trick.

"So that you look good," Jayden replied. "And not like a show off or an idiot. That is what your trying to say." He looked over at her. "I am more of the blue shirt kind of guy."

"Jury is out on that one." She said in a sarcastic tone and a gentle pat on his arm. Then she leaned in to kiss him quickly before he could really respond.

"What about this one," He pulled out a green shirt. "I don't think i've ever worn green. It might be a good change for me?" Jayden could tell by the look on her face she wasn't a fan.

"Darker green might be a better look then lime green." Clarissa said, with a teasing grin on her face.

Jayden smiled at her. “You’re right!” He looked over the clothes and found a forest green shirt. Holding it up he smiled. “Better?”

"I'd do you." Clarissa teased with a big grin on her face. As she watched him put the shirt up to his chest. Damn he looked sexy as hell.

“I think I am getting the hang of this.” Jayden smiled. “I still don’t love shopping but at least I am starting to see what looks good on me.”

"Why are you buttering me up?" Clarissa asked, loving what he was saying. But questioning his motives. What did he hope to gain from it.

“Because I suck at this,” Jayden explained. “You led me here but If I was alone I’d go for something ugly.” He smiled at her. “I am hoping you will continue to have mercy and help me.”

"I'm not the one that has to wear it, just the gal that helps you place it on the floor." Clarissa said with a wink. Then she went on. "Getting my input is good, but you need to find things that interest you as well." Clarissa pointed out to him.

“I am not much of a fashion person,” Jayden replied. “But let’s give it a try.” He looked around and then headed over picking up a dark red polo shirt. “See, I like this!”

Clarissa just grinned as they continued to shop. She loved the fact, he was willing to try as the scene starts to fade away.

Jayden looked here and there, sometimes he would pick up something horrible just so see that pained look from Clarissa.
