Mission: Episode 9 - Empok's End
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: MD002 1600 hrs

As Chief Intelligence officer, Jennifer was aware of most things on the ship Including one duty roster for a Dana Wakefield. And she also knew where Dana was getting off as well. So she waited for Dana to get off her shift and when she did Jenn walked up next to her and took her arm and took her along.

"Hello, Ensign," She said. "You and I have an appointment with a beautiful relaxing place and it's in the holodeck. Just the two of us and no stress. Also, it's an order!" She grinned as they kept walking along.

Momentarily taken aback she let out a sigh of relief when she recognised the familiar voice. "Well I don't want to be written up for disobeying orders now do I." she replied as she patted her friend's arm. Dana owed her a debt of gratitude that she could never repay, she did a hell of a job in her defence and she knew she hadn't always been the best friend that she ought to be.

"So the holodeck, I hope it has men in shorts that want to put their hands all over us while we are semi-naked ourselves," she said with a grin, the idea of a massage right about now sounded like heaven, after all, it was taking some adjusting to not giving the orders.

"Well," Jenn said, "it is the holodeck, that can be arranged." She giggled as they walked on to the door. She stopped in front of it and she stepped in front of Dana and said, "Now I have gone through the entire database to find the most beautiful and luxurious wellness centre. And I also put in a lot of favours to get us some extra time here. We got four hours."

She was really excited about doing this with Dana. She then opened the door to reveal a beautiful place. It was fit for kings and queens and it was nice and warm in there. As they stepped in and the door closed it was like the noises of the ship died and perfect and pure silence surrounded them. Jenn turned around to Dana, and asked, "So what do you think?"

Dana closed her eyes and felt the sun on her face, it was humid and she couldn't wait to get out of her uniform. "Jen, this was an excellent idea," she said as she opened her eyes and smiled at her best friend. "Come on let's get out of these uniforms and into something more relaxing."

Jenn pointed to two large buildings up ahead. "I think that's where we're supposed to go." Jenn only programmed the staff so they would have a lot of privacy. She got in a dressing room. She also pulled her braids loose so her hair would hang loose over her shoulders. That always felt relaxing to her.

She came out wearing a white soft bathrobe, and slippers. "Oh, it's been a while since I've been to the spa." She said as she waited for Dana to join her.

Dana chose to put on the most skimpy outfit that she could, it barley covered anything and left little to the imagination, but there was only Jen here and of course the preprogrammed staff, boldly coming out with her head raised, showing her best friend her new confidence.

"Well, how do I look?" Dana asked, a large smile on her face and she did a little turn.

Jenn looked at the operations officer with a raised eyebrow and said, "Well you have a lot of hope in this holodeck program." She chuckled a little. She looked on the console on the building displaying all the facilities. "So what do you like to do first?"

"Is it too much," she said blushing at her friend's response, before pondering on what they should do, "Well you reserved the time and you were kind enough to invite me so I shall allow you to choose."

Jenn looked up an down at what they got in thought. "That seems like something nice. The Ceylon treatment." She clicked on it to see what it got. "You might like that. It's a massage." She grinned.

Linking arms with her best friend, Dana smiled. "Sounds fantastic." as they gently began to walk. "You know, I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me recently. I never really..." she paused, tightening her grip for a moment "I wouldn't be here right now without you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart." she said, her voice wavering with emotions, showing just how genuine it was.

Jenn smiled. "It's good to know that, I looked up your admiral friend. I stumbled upon a sealed record. I could easily hack it, but I chose not. You are my friend, I trust you can help me out there?" They walked into the treatment room and two masseuses were waiting for them.

"By admiral friend, you mean my father," she replied, there was no need to hold back now, after all, he had certainly pulled strings for her and had somehow saved her career.

"Huh, your father?" Jenn looked surprised at Dana. "That's certainly not in your personnel file. But then again, there is so much in your personnel record that doesn't really add up." She got the two of them a drink from the replicator and handed a glass to Dana. "Girl to girl, how about I tell you a secret and you tell me one of yours?"

Dana giggled as she took the drink from her friend, "I think I just told you my biggest secret, I wanted to forge my career in my own right, not just because of the family name, I got a lot of stick for it, I was even poised to go into command training, but you know what the rumour mill is like, especially with the name, so no. I wanted to make my own way, forge my own path in Starfleet." she paused taking a sip of the drink, "But he still keeps track on his little girl and hell I don't know how, but he certainly saved my bacon on this one."

Jenn put her drink on the table. "I am glad you have a father that looks after you so well. I lost my parents when I was young. Starfleet called it an accident. But I know better now. I can't even imagine there was any other way. That's how good of a hacker I am, I found out this information I wasn't allowed to know. But it's not getting my parents back. Knowing the truth."

"The truth can certainly hurt," she said, a little pain showing on her face. "But your right, it won't bring anyone back or change anything, you have to live in the present." she took a sip of her drink, trying to avoid the gaze of her friend.

Jenn looked over to Dana a bit confused. "Dana, why are you looking at me as if you had tried to coughed my eyes out a few weeks ago, while under the influence of a Cardassian operative?"

"Oh nothing, just we have things we regret and can't change, but enough about that, we're here to let our hair down and have fun, and oh my shoulders are certainly crying out for those hands," she said looking at the two cute pre-programmed males, "What do you say, ready to have all your problems melt away?"

Jenn smiled. "Let's do this." She put her glass aside. "I think I could use a little melting right about now."

"You and me both," Dana said smiling at her friend, she really did appreciate the little things that Jennifer did for her, that's why she was her best friend and that's why Dana trusted her with her life.
