Mission:
Episode 6 - Old Habits Die Hard
Location: Robertson's Quarters
Timeline: MD006 0800 hrs
"Do you know where my clothes are?" Clarissa asked Jayden, as she sat up from the bed, she at least wanted to get dressed, unless he wanted them to stay in bed, and fool around. She was not sure what to do. They just fooled around this morning, and it was incredible. She could not believe, how incredible it was.
Jayden smiled. “They are around here somewhere. What is your hurry?”
"No hurry to leave, but don't you think we should put some clothes on, at some point?" She said with a playful grin on her face. At the moment, she was still lying next to him on the bed. She was curious though, where her clothes were.
“Your clothes start at my door and trail in here,” Jayden’s eyes held humor. “You want me to collect them or I can grab you a T-shirt and I’ll put on a pair of shorts.”
Clarissa grinned as she said. "I can replicate new underwear, but a shirt would be nice." She said, as she started to come up to the edge of the bed. "Come on, get up." She said, as she reached for his hand.
Jayden took her hand and sat up, swinging his legs to the floor. He stood and walked over, rifling through his drawer. Finding his favorite academy T-shirt, he tossed it to her and went back to getting clothes for him. “You want to eat in or out?”
"I'm just admiring the view at the moment." She said, as she caught the t shirt, and put it on. After putting it on, she walked behind him, and slapped his ass. "We can replicate something here. We are suppose to have a lazy day, remember?"
Jayden got dressed with a grin on his face. “Oh, right.” He nodded. “I just didn’t know if your friends would put an all points bulletin out on you.”
"Thats the problem with being friends with the Assistant Chief of Security." Clarissa said, as she walked over to to him. Then made a v line for the replicator in the room. And put on some underwear. "Eating here is fine."
“What are you hungry for,” Jayden smiled. “Have a seat on the couch and I will get it for you.”
"I prefer to eat at that little table with you." Clarissa said, as she walked over to his little table in the room. It had two chairs. It was so cute, she thought. "Bagel with cream cheese, and some orange slices." She said with a big smile on her face.
“Got it,” Jayden nodded. “Coffee?” He replicated her food while he waited for her answer.
"Oh god yes. Cinnamon Vanilla Carmel Creamers too." She said, feeling the need of caffeine.
Jayden came back and set her plate in the table along with a cup of coffee. He came back a few minutes later with his own food.”
As he passed by, she kissed him. "Thank you for this." Clarissa said, as she put creamer in her coffee, and started to stir it. Making sure to look at the breakfast plate in front of her.
“One of these days I will make you a real breakfast,” Jayden smiled. He looked at his bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam on it. “Though this is one of my favorites.”
"How can you go wrong with a bagel?" She said with a big smile on her face. It did not feel weird at all, having only a t shirt on, as she sat at the table with him. She started to spread cream chesse on her bagel.
Jayden sat and watched her for a moment, she was so beautiful. He liked seeing her wearing his shirt, gave him warm feelings. He picked up his knife and spread the cream cheese on his bagel and then the jam on top and took a bite. “Yum.”
Clarissa did not saying in response to his comment. She simply took a bite, followed by a sip of the coffee. Now this was a perfect moment, she thought to herself. "What kind of movies, you in too?" She asked, after finishing her bite of food, she did not want to be rude, and talk with her mouth full.
“There isn’t much I don’t like,” Jayden replies. “I am not a fan of horror movies but I’ve watched them before.”
"I like Rom Coms, especially from the 21st century." Clarissa said, not sure if he knew that slingo term. She really loved her romantic comedies.
“Seriously!” Jayden grinned. “I love romantic movies and ads some comedy and it is the best of both.”
"Sounds like we have a plan." Clarissa said, as she took another bite of bagel. She was eager to move on with the day. She was ready to watch a romantic comedy, with Jayden. A man she just met.
Jayden finished off his bagel. “You got something in mind to watch?” He asked. “I’m pretty sure I have it.”
"Don't be so sure, I am a big fan of late 21st century. A lot of cinematic gold during that time period." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face. In her mind, she was still trying to figure out what she wanted to watch.
“I have movies from before color,” Jayden replied. “I’ve seen every episode of the three stooges.”
"Three Stooges, is not a romantic comedy. Just putting that out there!" Clarissa said, with a smile on her face, as they continued to eat breakfast.
“It’s not,” Jayden agreed. “But I like them. Overboard is a good movie, the original of course.”
"Have you ever watched the first time with Britt Robertson and Dylan O'Brien?" Clarissa asked him with curiosity in her tone. She liked cheesy happy romantic comedies.
“I haven’t,” he admitted. “But I have it so we can watch it if you want. I Have wanted to but just haven’t taken the time.”
"Perfect time time then, after breakfast, will sit on that couch and watch it!" Clarissa said. Being a little in charge. Which seemed strange, since she was barely dressed. His shirt smelled so good.
“Sounds like a plan to me,” Jayden nodded. “You want anything else?”
"You have no idea." She said with a wink on her face. She continued to eat her breakfast. The scene starts to fade.
