Mission: Episode 5 - It Would Be Their Pleasure
Location: Casperian Resort
Timeline: MD008 1830 hrs

Quinn and Tyler both walked back over to their families. After Tyler and his wife left, he looked over to his lovely wife. Ameri was glowing the Casperian sunset. He walked over to her, and put his hands around her, as they both faced towards each other. "That was an interesting encounter, but we made it through. He has accepted all of us onto the Pioneer." Said Quinn, as he reached in for Enya to join them.

Ameri deeply and passionately returned Quinn's hug. She did not say anything at first. She was grateful that Quinn was able to talk to the Captain. She was not sure, what he told the captain. But it had to be good. She then wondered, about her having to check in. "Can I still check in the morning?" Asked Ameri.

"Yes." Said Quinn, as he interlocked his fingers with hers. The sun started to set. As the sun started to set, the artificial lights around the facility started to illuminate. Quinn was impressed with this planet. It gave Risa, a run for it's money. This place was extraordinary. And he was relieved that he got to spend it with Ameri.

"Mommy, can we go on the rides now?" Asked Enya, she was eager to get in line for the theme adventure park at the resort they were staying at. Enya was trying to tug on the arm of Ameri. In the process her father as well.

"In a moment, I want to enjoy this moment." Said Ameri, as she continued to watch the sun fall. After a few moments, she started to walk with Enya towards the theme park. Quinn followed closely behind them both.

Eya lead the way, they quickly checked into the park. And then got in line. Luckily Enya was only 9 and enjoyed the kid rides. Quinn and Ameri, were there to watch their daughter have fun. Enya had done everything that her parents wanted to do. The way Quinn saw it, they could at least watch her do a few things she wanted to do.

Enya worked her way through the line, while she did that Quinn and Ameri stayed close by. To keep an eye on their daughter. "You nervous, about tomorrow?" Asked Quinn, as he waited for his wife to respond. This was a big step for her. She took a long hiatus.

"Yes I am ready, feel like a part of me has been napping for to long. I miss being a scientist full time. It was nice to serve on a part time basis on the Nantucket, but I miss serving on a regular basis. This will be a great opportunity for me. And I know I have said it, thousands of time. But thank you. This move was a big step for us all. And I am grateful, that we are all together." Ameri said, as she watched Enya hop into the cart. She was now ready to begin the ride. The rest of the passengers, were still loading into the cart.

As the ride started to take off with Enya in it, Quinn watched on. And saw the joy in her face. Then he looked at his wife. "Were a family, and we should have each others back." Suggested Quinn, as he continued on. "Do you see the joy in her eyes?" Asked Quinn, as he looked to Ameri.

"Yes." Simply replied Ameri.

"I see the same joy in your eyes, when you got the position on the Pioneer, and I would do anything or go anywhere with you, to see that joy." He said, hoping his wife would understand, no favor was out of reach. They were a family, and he loved her with all of his heart.

Ameri was thinking her husband was a such a charmer. And she knew he was sincere. The two of them continued to watch Enya play. "You know me to well." Said Ameri.

"I do, not sure why you retired from being a full time scientist. You have a deep love for stellar cartography. I know you wanted to be a full time mother, but we could have made it work. Honestly, I was relieved when you said you wanted to return to work. I saw how much you enjoyed working in the lab." Said Quinn, as continued to focus on Ameri. And thinking back to their time on the Nantucket.

"What kind of mother, would I have been? If allowed strangers to capture her Enya's first moments?" Asked Ameri, as she looked to Quinn for a brief moment, and then back at Enya.

"Fair point my love." Said Quinn. It was hard to debate that logic. Ameri had brought up a good point. Better to have a mother raise their daughters early years, to develop her. Strangers should never raise your kids, was a corps belief of Quinn's as well as Ameri's. The two parents were in agreement.

"The real question here is, are we both ready for the nest step? What comes next for us on the USS Pioneer?" Asked Ameri, as she held the hand of her husband. This was a big step for the two of them.

"Moving from a big ship to an intrepid class will be a shift, but a smaller crew is not always a bad thing." Suggested Quinn. Thinking how much easier his life was going to be as first officer. A little more flexibility in his day.

"More time to spend with us." Suggested Ameri, with a come and kiss me grin on her face. As soon as he leaned in for the kiss. Enya started to approach their position.

"Mom, can we go to the next ride? Please?" Desperately pleaded Enya, trying to get parents to focus their attention on her.

Ameri gave her husband a small kiss, and then reached out with her hand, for Enya to lead them on their little adventure in the them park. The scene starts to fade.
