Mission: Episode 5 - It Would Be Their Pleasure
Location: Personal Quarters
Timeline: MD001 0800 hrs

Amelia lay on top of her bed staring up at the ceiling almost devoid of thought. She had been ready to leave for the last half hour but instead seemingly subconsciously lay down on the bed and hadn't moved since. Then a flash of the previous timeline flickered through her mind.

She flinched, and felt the warm trickle of something flowing through her nose. As she sat up it began to bleed once more and she rushed to the replicator for paper towels, or a napkin, to stop the bleeding.

"This can't be normal?" she asked herself.

This had been her secret at the moment, the sore heads and nose bleeds albeit the latter were becoming a little more often. She had yet to speak to Calhoun, maybe this was normal for a first time into a timeline change, maybe it wasn't and she was the anomaly here. Scared didn't quite cover it but also a little embarrassed to say anything to him.

If she had been talking to a patient she would have encouraged them to be open and honest with themselves before moving on to telling anyone but also if it was a serious medical situation she would tell the doctor, even that wasn't in her mind right now. Of course she wasn't a patient but her own worst enemy. They do say doctors make the worst patients right?

Since the timeshift she had walked the corridors and seen flashes of Jem'Hadar, some Cardassians and Vorta and flickers of memories she'd made that were different from how things were.

There was no Interrogation Suite, that she was happy about, no sense of impending doom in trying to assume command over a ship she didn't want too or outfox a Cardassian commander. To some extent she was just happy to be herself again, a Counsellor.

She'd yet to set foot out of her quarters recently and it hadn't gone unnoticed by some, her couselling staff mostly due to her lack of appearances 'at the office'.

Her nose had stopped bleeding now and she'd cleaned herself up before standing in front of the door. Taking in a deep breath she stepped out.
