Location: Myles' Quarters
Timeline: MD001 1230 hrs

May 28 2394 0700 hrs (relative time)

Larim woke up, more than a little groggy. Vision hazy, the whole nine yards. He started to freak out that his legs felt weird. He patted himself down. "Feel intact." he said, addressing no one in particular. He shook the cobwebs loose. Rubbing his eyes seemed to help wake him up too. "Oh good. I'm in my quarters." he sighed in relief.

"Well I hope so. Silly goose." came a voice from Larims kitchen area.

"Huh?" he asked. Larim wasn't an android. But he had enough of a memory to know that he lived alone on the Pioneer. He felt the need to reach out. Curiosity more than anything else. Also security. It wouldn't do for the Chief of Security to be caught unawares. "What he got clearly was a surprise.

"Lax?!" he said

"That's me. Why so surprised." she replied

"Arent you supposed to be on Empok nor?" Larim asked, clearly confused. "I must have hit the wall harder than I thought."

Lax only laughed. "You know good and well I'm Chief engineer on this bucket." she laughed. She dove into his mind, and got confused herself. "Maybe you should talk to the doctor. You seem off."

Larim couldn't help but agree. "Maybe your right, honey." he said. He went to his closet to find the 2360's uniform with a delta commbadge with two gold lines. "Computer, year please."

"The year is 2394."

"That's what I thought." Larim said. "I need a drink." he muttered
