Oops I Did It Again

Timeline: 2386
"How exactly did this happen?" The Bolian medical officer queried
Of Heidy as she sat on the edge of a biobed with a rather sheepish expression, that said almost as much as the glowing substance that covered her left side head to toe, or the glare from the Lieutenant sat two beds over equally covered in the same glowing substance.
"Well sir." She began as the officer swept a tricorder around her checking her over. "I was assuming in the processing of the compounds retreaved from hi I'd he."
"Oh is that what you call it." Came a harsh call from behind her.
Ignoring it for the most part, she continued with her account. "It turned out the reaction scale test produced some intersting results."
"So that's all it was a bi product of the unknown." He asked.
"Not exactly. As I said the test had some intersting results. Me and a crew mate we talking about things and came to the conclusion that a pair of liquids would produce a very striking visual display." she admitted, the substance coving her was semisolid and it temperature was changing."Sir this is getting colder."
The medical officer sighed with a look of concern and a little urgency gestured to the pair of them to follow as hr started to walk towards the central bed. "Follow me, we need to put you though a decontamination field."indicating the pair to halt at the edge of the area, he continued and activated a console. "Hold still. Dilucca continue please."
rooted to the spot as the field sprang in front of her and the passed over her. "Well I snuck into lab 4 on the graveyard shift and made the theory a reality. I just wasn't expecting it to foam up like it did. Or that Lieutenant Cdasa would chose that moment to walk in." She finished looking at her shoes, as the lectures and the punishments were given out.
"Lieutenant the lab is.......?"
"A state, completely unusable, sealed off for decontamination and cleaning." He stated angrily still with the stir expression that he always seemed to wear regardless if the situation, their was a small impulse in Heidy to let out a giggle, if she hadn't been in quite so much bother. "I did put up containment didn't think I'd need it......but
But that faded with what he had to say next. "Don't go taking this lightly Miss Dilucca, in fact to impress that upon you consider yourself on clean up duty once decontamination is done, better yet consider this your introduction to those procedures once we're done here."
"Yes Sir." Heidy replied simply.
Out of her eyeline the Doctor cracked a smile, as did the Science Lieutenant.
