Personal History Adélaïde was born in Strasbourg, France as the last child of Xavier and Emily Moreau. She has two older brothers and an older sister with whom she is very close.

Family is the most important thing to her, and to the Moreau's as a whole. So when they moved to San Francisco when she was 4 they stuck together as you would expect. Family events were commonplace; picnics, parties, hunting games and general family fun.

Adélaïde loved playing rough with her brothers, usually hide and seek was the game she loved most. Something that has stuck with her through life as through school she was the most observant child, somewhat of a Nancy Drew when detective work when someone stole a PADD or something needed looking into.

Some say she was destined for police work, security or something similar but oddly enough she did none of those things. The marines were where she ended up thanks for her grandfather.

He was a Major at the time but he would come home with these wonderful stories, she would sit and listen to him for hours. All the while her mother looking on in fear at the prospect that came true many years later.

Adélaïde was smart enough to go the officer route, was urged too but opted for real marine work and specialised in Search and Rescue Operations.

Out of training she was placed as SAR Specialist on the USS Bulldog and spent 2 years perfecting her trade as they assisted in humanitarian disasters, terrorist attacks and other events that needed SAR to be present.

Transferring to the USS Roosevelt in the same capacity she spent four years doing the same work but loving it in the same way she did from her younger years in school. Nothing had changed.

In 2394 there was a terrorist attack on Lancor IV in which their main government building was brought down in an act of defiance trying to instigate a coup which ultimately failed. Adélaïde spent hours searching, digging and getting people out of the rubble. At times there were just bodies, sadly their souls left their bodies but still they deserved respect and got it. They were there for weeks, albeit the SAR teams involvement was only for a few weeks for initial deployment and then clean up afterwards. The Roosevelt stayed for the duration to ensure the investigations continued legally and honestly before returning to their normal duties.

The USS Pioneer was within the Cardassian borders dealing with many issues out there and a position became available. She grabbed it with open arms.
