WOW! Just WOW! You all really amazed me this episode. Not only did we get some good character development, but a very interesting side plot was held during the shore leave. On top of all of that headway was made on the over arc plot. We now have three separate investigatory teams looking into our friends from Cardassia. Will they put it all together in time, meh who knows. For now we have exploring to do.

On a personal note I wanted to say how happy and proud I am of all of you. It is a rare treat to find a crew that can create character development on a mission driven sim. You all get it done with aplomb. So thank you, thank you, thank you a thousand times thank you. You are my online family...

Now that the mushy stuff is out of the way on to the recognition. I am proud to say we have some award to give out.

So without any gilding the lily and no further ado I give you the one, the only, awards... taps mic

The Entire Crew - Silver Unit of Merit (Unit Award) - “Normally, I’m not one for giving awards to Task Group Flagships. In fact, often times I actively avoid it as I feel to take on a Task Force Command role is to forfeit those types of awards to the sims you are the TGCO for. However, in this instance, I am awarding the UoM from the month of July to Captain Tyler Malbrooke and the crew of the Pioneer. They consistently put out a high post count while maintaining a brilliant quality, worthy of Flagship status and this award. In July alone, they put out 134 posts, an average of just over 7 posts per player, and are on track for another month that will break that 100 post level, and this isn’t a one off either! Combine that with the additional work Malbrooke does in his capacity as a TGCO and Academy Commandant while also running this great sim and the sheer degree of interaction between these people that demonstrates the kind of creativity and camaraderie this fleet is all about, and you’ll understand why I’m nominating them for this award. So congratulations to the Pioneer and her crew, this award is well earned. Keep it up!”

Ensign Dana Wakefield - Captain's Personal Merit Award - "The story they constructed and kept relatively secret from us all was one that was compelling, and something not often seen in Star Trek. It is rare that a story is told about how the stresses of starship life can effect a person. I enjoyed reading this series, and I am glad to have been a writer in it. So for her fall from grace I would like to give Dana Wakefield the Captain's Personal Merit Award. Now keep up the great work..."

Lieutenant Ameri Ó Flannagáin - Executive Officer's Merit Award - "What a great addition to the fleet. This writer and the character herself, is a fun read. I love how Ameri has come to life. First being an npc, to becoming a playable character. She personality traits are wonderful, and so is her sassy irish humor. I have enjoyed watching this character develop."
-Commander Quinn Ó Flannagáin-

Staff Warrant Officer Jennifer Masters - Crew's Choice Award - "Staff Warrant Officer Jennifer Masters, has become very active within the sim. I am very impressed with her posting levels. Glad to see her posting on a regular basis. Really enjoying the sub story arc. Can not wait to see what comes next."
-Commander Quinn Ó Flannagáin-

"Masters is always up for writing with anyone and it is a pleasure to do so."
-Lieutenant Commander Richard Ballston-

"Masters is someone that you can depend on both in character and out. She has become and invaluable member of this community, always saying hello and chatting on the Discord Channel. There have been some big things out of our Intel Department, and I expect even bigger things to come. Her willingness to assist in any plot line makes her a resource like no other in a sim."
-Captain Tyler Malbrooke-

Lieutenant Ameri Ó Flannagáin
- Meritorious Newcomer Award - "Ameri has been with the sim for a short time now. In that time they have made the character so much more than the original "this is the XO's wife". She is always willing to jump in on a post and lend a hand to telling a great story both in the main plot arc, and with character's personal arcs. One of my favorite exchanges in this sim came with Ameri and so for that and much more I grant this award."
-Captain Tyler Malbrooke-

"Ameri was a joy to write with, and has jumped into every position with both feet."
-Lieutenant Vaebn tr'Hwersuil-

Lieutenant Ingrid Hollister
- Departmental Service Badge: Command - "Every post that the Lieutenant submits is a joy to read. I love to read about the hidden agenda of this pilot. When they joined the Pioneer their character background lent itself to assist in furthering the over arc of the sim. Hollister was more than willing to throw their character out there for a unique introduction. I find myself rereading their introduction ever so often, simply because it is a good read. I award this badge for their commitment to the Command Department of this vessel."
-Captain Tyler Malbrooke-

Staff Warrant Officer Jennifer Masters
- Friendship Ribbon - "Without Jen, Dana would be up s&*t creek without a paddle, I know I can always rely on Jen and she always has my back, what are friends for after all."
-Ensign Dana Wakefield-

Ensign Dana Wakefield
- Outstanding Post Ribbon - "I'm putting Lieutenant Dana Wakefield and Warrant Jennifer Masters up for this award. The post, What are Friends For is a compelling post about two characters each dealing with trauma in their lives and leaning on one another to try and get through it. This post helped pave the way to more drama throughout Episode 7: Home Again and it's been a lot of fun to read."

- 100 Post Ribbon - "Awarded for completing 150 posts. Well done!"
-Captain Tyler Malbrooke-

The story of this ship continues in ways that I never thought possible. When I created this sim I set out to tell the stories that you did not see on television with the series. Home Again will stick out in my mind as the mission when that became possible and more. Within this writing is a court martial, three romantic relationships, two married couples and whole lot more. If this is the beginning I can't wait to see what happens next.

Here is to the tip of the iceberg...

For Now
